  1. yeah, I was being facetious. Unfortunately not doing Ezel this year. School fees, food and other budgetary considerations take the fore! Next year for sure, though.
  2. Mark, is that you? Saw one of these with Mark & Luke Moir at the Klipberg Enduro. Pretty impressed, and got me motivated even more to do it.
  3. Vatable Amount = invoiced cost + 15% Vat = (vatable amount + 10%) x 15% In practice, it comes to: invoiced amount x 1.15 x 1.165 = invoiced amount x 1.33975 or cost + 33.975%
  4. Great with a full size van This is kinda what I'm looking at doing.
  5. yeah, looking at this, now. But at the level that I am looking, there's not a lot of options that would motivate me to move from where I am.
  6. LOL. Funny, that. Take him along with me on adventures, ensuring that he's always got schooling covered... I've been thinking alot about that lately. He's with me on 5 nights every 2 weeks, 3 of those on the weekend. Not to say he doesn't have schooling covered, but freeing up an extra 10k a month or so would help a bit!
  7. LOVE this. Increasingly thinking that this is the way to go. Minimal shaite, just all you need in a single spot. Go anywhere. Do anything. No rent, no electrickery. Gym contract for showers etc. Minimalism for the win.
  8. code is unique to your login, so if you're always logged in online / on your phone, it'll recognise that and link it to the profile.
  9. not illegal, just not in line with DSTV's fair use policies
  10. There's a whole thread about it... https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/177181-pinkbikes-the-privateer-series/
  11. This. Listen to the doctors, Iain. PKotze & V12 both. Take it easy. That does not mean exercising at a low intensity. That means resting. You're already active enough during working hours.
  12. FWIW if anyone's looking for skoene... Inov8 clearance sale. https://rebelstore.co.za/inov-8-sale#/page/1
  13. This. Used to go around to plants (huletts, etc) with my old man when he was still with ABE. He was one of the principal epoxy flooring & waterproofing consultants there in the late 80's and into the 90's. Contractors thinking they can get away with less floor prep than he told them to do were called back MANY times to fix areas where the molasses and other chemicals had literally eaten the floor away from underneath due to improper preparation and application of hte product. Your prep needs to be impeccable in order to guarantee a good finish and long lasting result.
  14. You don't need to buy it. They have one just for fitting them to clients' bikes. Just throw your bike at one of the droo's, toss them the One Up tool & holder and shout TAKE MY MONEY! Helps if you bring beer.
  15. Yeah, Iain. I have to say - you're trying to rush this, when you knnow that you're not ready to come back, yet. Rest. Concussion is no joke. It's not the same for everyone, but the dangers are real.
  16. Yeah, and you're way more technically proficient than I am. It's where I lost most of my time.
  17. LOL. Thanks, Dawid. This was on stage one, the "tame" stage, but the whole course was like this, almost. I wanna go back to tame the dingleberries, though! That section on stage 5 was just madness. If Harry didn't ride it... just goes to show. Lombardi apparently made it look effortless.
