  1. Finished it yesterday, and I have to agree with Cap. So many questions I want answered, and SOOOOO much potential for crossover.
  2. Should be treated separately, but brain farts have been known to occur. May make it through unscathed, may have the duty applied to the entire order.
  3. It's a POS in every conceivable way, so bar & stem specs wouldn't be high on the "List of Things What Are Wrong" LOL
  4. hahahaha! Certain vrystaaters and dirt roadies would pounce. HOW DARE YOU!!!
  5. No, it doesn't. It has plastic pedal space savers. Keeping the threads warm for when the real pedals replace them.
  6. I know, sadly. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the test / review.
  7. Their new NSX is hybrid powered as well, so there's bound to be a lot more tech on both ends.
  8. It's a bunch of counter-marketing BS that most tied agents tend to rely on in order to drum up business. And yes, you do...
  9. is it markedly different to one sold here? Is there one sold here that is of similar value? I'd check the latter, and supply them with thse details together with the screenshot.
  10. there we go. Using it to prove the fact it wasn't your fault. If they could tell it was your fault, they'd still be fighting it but without the telemetry data. If it was your fault, you'd stil be covered, but you'd have to pay the excess. Point it they can't use it to repudiate claims.
  11. No issue with that at all. Just means that they may be able to tell that the incident was your fault, and as such there may be less likelihood of getting your excess back in the case of an accident that "wasn't my fault" unless they manage to retrieve the excess from the opposing insurer (which they'd want to do anyway as they'd retrieve the costs of repair to your vehicle as well should the other party be at fault) A claim can't be repudiated based on not stopping at a stop street or speeding. It can be repudiated due to driving drunk, though. And they can't tell that from the tracker unit.
  12. no, it's not as simple as that. Only get the 20% to a max of 30% of your total spend. So if all you buy is the shoes, you get 20% back on 30% of your R 1k. Which equates 6% of your item. Only way you'll get 20% back on the full R 1k is if your total card spend is R 1,000/30% = R 3,333 So it's essentially converted to the same as if you'd only used your card to spend at partner stores. IF you're on Diamond.
  13. 1 mile = R 15 spend = 10c (real) 10x miles means 1 mile = R 15 spend = R1 so... 1/15 = 6% back.
  14. they're apparently just using Nissan's ladder chassis, and bits of the suspension. But all fettled by Merc. Interior obv very different. Engine spec may be shared, apart from the top end which is a 3.0 TDI variant of one of Merc's others in the passenger car segment. Obv the Navara TDi will feature as well. Got a wider track, re-engineered suspension and so on... http://www.wheels24.co.za/OffRoad_and_4x4/Bakkie_and_SUV/mercedes-sa-bound-x-class-bakkie-heres-all-you-need-to-know-20161026
  15. That's NOTHING. The wait for Morewood's Sukuma was ~ 2 years... production problems.
  16. No, but it's only because it's EXTREMELY poorly worded. A person going at 40KPH will complete a course in the same time regardless of their weight, aero properties or ave wattage. What they SHOULD say is that it improves aero to a degree such that your required power output is reduced by X watts. Or - if you sustain the same wattage as previously used to attain an avg 40kph, your time would be 12.6s faster.
  17. The bare frame, which is said to weigh 4.6lbs, sells for $749 USD, and complete bikes start at $1,599 and top out at $1,999 USD.
