  1. Yeah. But this safety car will definitely work in his favour!
  2. Bottas having a very good race so far!
  3. Dammit. Seems as if Vettel still has those ERS issues
  4. Normal crown race for a tapered fork on the right, crown race reducer for a straight fork to fit in to a tapered headset on the left.
  5. It will fit on to the fork, like a normal crown race. It's just a bit bigger than a normal one.
  6. There are crown race reducers that most lbs's should carry, that allow a straight steerer fork to fit a tapered head tube. Cheap and easy. No need to replace a headset.
  7. If that's the case, then he will lose a lot of seasoned supporters. Arrogance is acceptable to a point (the position of a formula 1 driver demands it, in certain respects) but flat out temper tantrums are not things to be expected of one of that calibre or position. I'm sure he will be extremely upset, nay - angry - should the car fail tomorrow, but I hope that I am right in thinking that he has become more mature and stoic in nature, and will not perform like an angry kid who's had his lolly taken away from him. Agreed on the battles though. There's a lot more at stake here than just a few points, and taking the final practice and quali into account, there are quite a few contenders for those top 10 positions. And the merc's hold on top spot isn't as tight as we assumed on Friday morning!
  8. Difference between this and the "cowboy" incident is the video evidence and how that went viral so quickly. Hope this oke, whoever he is, hands himself in and faves the full brunt of the law. Holding thumbs for Jevandre!
  9. Yeah it was. Kviyak had an unfortunate off... seems he just couldn't control that power delivery in the left hander. Was giving everyone problems though
  10. Pity about that yellow on the last lap though. That definitely would have affected things for the late runners
  11. Unfortunate incident for raikkonen though. And vettel still not getting to grips with his sled. May just be that he's using a different mapping to Ricciardo, but he needs to do a lot of work tomorrow! A lot of names outside the top 10
  12. Brilliant runs from Kviyak and Ricciardo!
  13. Not many places! And they're darned expensive... But as for the chance - it's always there. The snakeskin protection also has the added bonus that you can run them at slightly lower pressures than the non snakeskin, thanks to the stronger sidewalls. This also then aids grip quite a bit... As for where to get them... Capricorn will be able to tel you more than I... Afraid I haven't been looking at tires for a while, so I'm a bit out of touch wrt availability & pricing.
  14. Just phoned them... they're the TLR Pace star versions. NOT snakeskin. So they are still good value, but not the ones I'd recommend.
  15. Snakeskin TLR? If so... very very good price
  16. Yes. If you get the Snakeskin TLR one, it'll fit perfectly and have the added protection against sidewall cuts. It's a bit more expensive than the non snakeskin version, but it's worth every penny and gram.
  17. There's a word missing there....
  18. My gut feel - an all rounder that is still pretty light-ish - Nobby Nic snakeskin.
