Tank, the pull ratio is NOT just determined by the shifter. It's also determined by the lever rate within the rear derailleur ie the length of the lever that the cable is attached to. 1:1 means that for every mm a cable moves in the sheath, the RD will move 1mm. If you change the lever length on the RD the leverage or pull ratio WILL change.

Lol. I remember that being the ONLY place my weight and generally good balance worked in my favour in 2009. I was the only one in my group to remain on the bike.

Ju jitsu session last week. One of the okes was a bit too keen in trying to get me to submit via a side arm bar and launched his 95kg weight into the side of my ribs... instead of just rolling back with my arm he jumped and landed with his entire weight on the ribs, leading with his shin. He didn't get the submission, but he bruised the hell outta my ribs. Then on Friday I went back to ju jitsu and tried a few holds / break falls etc. Not the smartest thing to do!

Do it. And the Nukeproofs aren't realy THAT much better, in real terms. They're thinner, which makes them less prone to rock strikes, and they have a slightly beter platform, so they mold to the shoes a bit better. But the V8 copies are brilliant pedals. Cheap. Cheerful. Strong. And for the price of 1 pair of nukeproofs, you have 2 sets of pedals...

If normal tracked delivery (SAPO tracked) then it's about a week or 2.
