    2013 MTB Calendar

Thanks for that jcza. Anyone know of a complete mtb calender doing the rounds? Quite keen to see the national XCO series for next year. I know 1 or 2 people wanting to try to qualify for the XCO world cup in August.
  2. Are those middle ones Enves? They're freakin' hot!!!
  3. Couldn't agree more. There's only 1 place where 12mm extra would really make that much difference...

    Cricket......

Vilas, Vilas, Vilas! I can't believe they didn't jump at the opportunity to get him into the side when Boucher got injured. A more than capable gloveman who really has potential to be a world class aggressive middle order batsman. He could be as useful to us as Prior is to England.
  5. It's not quite as simple as a straight conversion. The shape of your foot is also a consideration. For example Sidi's are very narrow, so if you have wide feet, you'll need to go up a size, whereas Shimano's suit wider feet. I personally would not buy a shoe without trying it on.
  6. From the look of things, it's still gonna be a couple of years until it works itself through...
  7. FFS, enough is enough.
  8. So where, oh where does someone get that extra bit required to win?
  9. Ja, once the Bulls were out of the Currie cup, most of us fans came online to stir k@k on the hub. F@k@l else going on.
  10. "We are however, looking forward to spending more time in the festival village where we can indulge in some good food, although this won’t help much with our off season body weight,” laughs Sauser. So they now weigh like 60kgs??? These pro's really pig out in the off season. Who you guys picking for the win?
  11. The victory may be hollow, but M&M's wallets won't be! :-)
  12. I tend to agree. My gut feel is that, at best, KE must have known that DG was doping. At best...
  13. Classic!! Edit. In fact, I'm off to my LBS to shoplift a Scott and a pair of Oakleys...
  14. Although to be fair, it will be moved from the documentary section to fairy tale section.
  15. Yeah, there's stories of pro cyclists who would wake up in the middle of the night and get on the trainer to get their heart rates up so that they wouldn't die of a heart attack. Still want to use EPO? The you're a EPOs.
  16. Explains the elbow guards - to hide the track marks.
  17. I'm no expert, but I would hazard a guess that if you can mange that, you're pretty much OK for anything. Freakin' well done!
  18. jcza's post just reminded me that you're a SS nutter! That has to be the worst kind of route? Large sections that you probably spin out on followed by climbs that probably end in hike-a-bike.
  19. I am still mentally scarred, so to answer your question - recovery time is not good. Seriously though, go for it. Being able to do the marathon means you are one step closer to stage racing, which is the most fun you can have on a bike.
  20. It's all relative, I guess. A friend of mine, who I am usually faster than took 20 minutes out of me. He had already gone and bought a beer by the time I got there! :-(
  21. Rings a bell. Anyway, best of luck at cradle quest.
  22. Can't specifically remember seeing the Qhubeka kit. What bike you on? I'm better at remembering those.
  23. ****!! - you were breathing down my neck! We could have seen each other out on the course. What kit were you in? I was in red ABSA kit.
  24. What time did you do? I managed to limp home in 4hrs.
