  1. Great racing once again.. the wolf pack just too good..

Fantastic ride by Pedersen...well done kiddo.

Yes masif effort by Pedersen...might still see big things from him.

QS did not have to use too many tactics today..they just used the strongest man in the race and asked him to go long again...helps that they have backup options but its clear no one rider in that chase group was going to match him.

  2. Don't think we have seen such a strong Belgian lineup for a ling time..the ein will be a Belgian one I think.

    Hoping for Sep!!

This year it feels like there's a lot of riders at the same level..so winning this thing is going to be crazy difficult!

Anybody that beat QS will have to be strong like hell and very clever.

  3. Well he should perk up considering he is the highest paid cyclist

Sounds like he was describing pretty normal race tactics...maybe GvA and Benoot should also feel unhappy that Gilbert just sat on with a big smile on his face..or maybe they know that teams are not going to hand it to them on a platter and there is a reason they are race favourites.
  4. Ok so offer made and accepted!!Visas handed in with Medical and police Certificate.

Doing work to resident with accredited employer.

If nothing goes wrong from here plan is to fly 28 April.

    Things happening fast now!!

    Some questions for you all.

    1. Not planing on shipping anything but want to try and bring bikes.Should be able to take 2 with on plane but want to try and bring down the rest also...plus trainers etc.

What options do I have and is it worth it or should I just sell rather.

Also do you have like a bikehub equivalent that side? Just want to get a feel for second hand bike prices.

    2. How easy is it to get finance that side for a small car.If I am permanently employed but want to get it done on day 1 without any Salary history in Nz?

Stressing bigtime now that something goes wrong with visa because we full on committed now..resigned...house in market..half our stuff already sold..eish!!

  5. Sags on a bad day..well I hope its just a bad day and not his form[emoji24]

He has shown very little form this year sofar..no doubt he is not in the same place as last year. Especially when the road goes up...

But he might still pull it together before PR

Quickstep had a great race but in the end it was real close..Bmc had numbers also but struggled to convert.

  6. Saw this on Tweetiebird ????

    ????????

‘...one thing I like about Nibali's win today is if you look through his record, he has a long history of getting up there in one day races. proof that you don't have to be a total Tour specialist in modern cycling, whatever conventional wisdom says. shows respect for whole calendar...’

Yes much like Valverde..they both unique riders that you either love or hate. But they also both pure allround bike racers..not a lot of them around right now.
  7. Congrats to Nibs..that was one win I wont forget soon!!!close to the best for me at MSR.

Big up also for Demare and Ewan!!Great ride by them and their teams!

On the day you either had the legs to follow Nibs or you had to be quicker than Ewan..no one left in bunch could match or outsmart them ..so basically it was Ewan versus Nibs and the climber won!!Pure sprinter versus pure climber..not every day you get a race that can deliver that.

  8. Making a call on retirement is probably the hardest decision any pro sportsman or woman can make. And it can be easy to see this as a run of rotten luck especially if everything has been going well in training. Body can only take so much punishment and Cav has been luckier than most with crash related injuries. Only Cav will know if this is because he isn't up to racing or if it really is just a case of really rotten luck.

Lots being said about Cav because of the luck he is having...the man is only 32..and believe me if you a sprinter and you still in front in MSR after 290km there is absolutely nothing wrong with the body..absolutely nothing!!!Only about 3 other pure sprinters in the world left with him in front with only Ewan remotely in his league..

Thing about Cav is you can bet on it he is going to make his legs do the talking and win big soon..like always.

Sad to see some of the crap people are getting up to noe just because they font like him.

All riders have bad patches..this one is very baf because of the nature of some of the crashes.

People should remember that he is a accomplished track rider and a brilliant bike handler..

Hope to see him go big soon..DD needs it big time right now.

  9. I am backing Greipel as a Darkhorse..man has been climbing strong lately!

Greg also climbing much better than last couple of years..too the extend that he has been up there with Gc guys on some big stuff.

Not sure if Tiesj is riding but I want what he is on...4th overall at a climbers friendly tirenno.

Kwaito and Alaphilip been also fast on climbs.

  10. All the best.If you made the effort to go, chances are very good the offer/s will come. Plenty skilled people required, so, hopefully we'll see you again soon (last time I remember seeing you was at the Wimpy in Graskop I think, or was it Middelburg...)

Yes man..think it was after Sabiex. Just checked now..Jan 2015 I started asking you questions about NZ..3years later and we almost there.

Got something last night that looks very positive.

If everything works out I think we can be there 1May. Stressing but also excited!

  11. Ok so finally taking the big step!!Flying in Mid Febr to Auckland to come do some job hunting. Have 1 or 2 contacts that side but still need to setup some more appointments.

Hold thumbs!!! Took us like forever to make up our minds but now fully committed to make it work.

Any advice on good recruiting agencies that specialize in the IT sector?
