Sorry for being so blatant but how would a 220-age formula give 7 odd billion people the correct max HR, it's just a stupid formula used by people who are too lazy to test their own sport specific max heart rate, and even then you should add some room cause you can always go a bit harder.

Any reputable lbs will let you try out a saddle for 2-3 weeks. WTB's are cheap and have a very good rep, spez has their fan base but I am falling very hard for the henge (avatar is a couch, henge is a chair, phenom is brick). Don't know if you can test fizik or selle saddles but not a fan of either. Start with a sit bone measurement, then find the problem areas (crotch or sit bones), then get a saddle according to your issue.

Not a specialized fan boy at all, but their entry level range of almost everything gives superb value for money. Tried their shoes, saddles and as of late their helmet and I can't see why I won't buy them again if I have to.
