  1. If I get a 4pm flight, will I make it in time?
  2. It's really easy. Just work in a clean area and follow the instructions on youtube.
  3. You will pay Canyon for the bike and shipping. When it lands here you will pay VAT and duty on the invoice amount (which will exclude shipping).
  4. I've 'heard' many stories about the parties on farms during picking season. Most backpackers don't really do it for the cash...
  5. That scent is called confidence. It's what a haircut and decent set of rags does for you
  6. A six and a half hour pork belly. You win this thread!
  7. This is a comment I often hear from people that don't have to deal with unions.
  8. You'll only pay VAT on the $266, unless the invoice states a lower amount which is the norm from China. Or the customs guys calculate it wrong, which happens 80% of the time in my experience Then you'll pay a small handling fee this side (R46 or so).
  9. Under R10k on Emirates via Discovery. I have some thinking to do this weekend! EDIT: R9028, to be exact
  10. $134 seems high. I paid $70 when dealing with XM Carbonspeed. Also had to pay R350-odd for clearing and forwarding and VAT on this side.
  11. Been meaning to post this for a while. Inherited it on my 40th. http://i68.tinypic.com/2nteknd.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/27zg7mf.jpg
  12. Really no need to explain, it's wonderful to own something different. And that really is lovely!
  13. Try closing the bottom vents halfway to prolong the coal life. You'll need to find the sweet spot where they're getting just enough air to burn but not too much to burn out quickly. Also try use charka triquettes. Much longer burn time as they use less filler in the production.
  14. Yeah the Umhlanga one. Their dry aged rib eye is honestly the best cut of meat I've ever eaten.
  15. Karoo kitchen is about 4km from my office. My biltong consumption is at an all time high.
  16. Spend a bit extra an get a Badger, also from trappers. Far better blade steel.
  17. How did you prep it Myles? Marinade?
  18. FHR930C 32h without spoke holes in rim bed I think I ended up getting the same ones you posted about.
  19. With the electronics partially off, it gets pretty hairy pretty quickly. Especially compared to other offerings from Mclaren, etc which are much more subdued. I've experienced some pretty high power cars, but the latest GT2 punches well above it's numbers Older GT2's were proper. Best drive of my life was in a 993 GT2 clubsport.
  20. Yeah he's a top guy. Really great to deal with.
  21. Very nice. One of the last properly-scary-to-drive production cars left these days.
  22. Uncompacted snow weighs about 100kg per cubic metre. So it would take a LOT of snow to squash a car.
  23. I'd be interested to hear your reasons. I've had XT on my last 3 bikes and can honestly say I've never felt short of braking power.
