  1. I've been so happy with the dual compound ground controls, was thinking of sticking with those. Well suited to the conditions here.
  2. Thanks for the initial suggestion Duane. I hadn't even considered it, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.
  3. The rest of the grocery list for the Intense has been ordered, and now the waiting begins Can't wait!!
  4. Oh for sure! Just placing the orders for now and deciding what shoes she will wear. Getting pretty excited now

It all depends on the industry you work in and the nature of your job. If you're client facing and work in a formal industry (investment banking, for example), getting something done on your neck or face is going to affect your career. If you agree with that or not is another story, but it will affect your job prospects.
  7. LOL, that's not pulling punches, that's an underprepped fighter gassing and battling to hit his target. Mcgregor hit a WALL in the 6th round, after that he could barely keep his gloves up. It was embarrassing (but entertaining) watching him get get beaten like a red-headed stepchild...
  8. That's brilliant news Ross! I was wondering about your situation with the changes - I've had 2 sets of mates returning since the changes were made (both in air traffic control). Contracts couldn't be renewed.
  9. I'm guessing you haven't been to a licensing or home affairs in SA recently? Things have changed somewhat in the last 12 months, and not for the better...
  10. What's your budget? I'd include a few nights at The Cavern Berg Resort and a few nights at Umngazi River Bungalows either way.
  11. There's a cover underneath as far as I remember. Just flip your bike over.
  12. Don't take it apart. First try opening the cover and adding some lube to the parts (I find Shimano PTFE lube works well for this). Then try replace the inner cable and check the housing for kinks or crimps. Also give the derailleur some attention and lube the moving parts.
  13. Any Mega Mica or Builders or Cashbuild
  14. You definitely need a tube on that water. The drop-off's are all opposite the dam wall and near impossible to get to by wading. Tubes are not that expensive if you shop around (floattubes.co.za for example) and they will transform your fishing experience. There's nothing that comes close to spending a few days on a 90Ha lake and figuring it out
  15. That (almost) exact pic is my desktop. Lovely water once you figure it out.
  16. You're a legend! And I searched that site
  17. Question for oneten29 owners - do you know the suggested torque figures for the main and secondary pivot bolts? Can't seem to find them anywhere but 15Nm rings a bell.
  18. After 10 months those are properly stale. Pity, looks quite tasty!
  19. Darn, it's changed since yesterday. I ordered a pair of 2XL for R519 Sorry about that!
  20. If you happen to be a 2XL (36), SCORE! https://sport.takealot.com/sport-nalini-prime-boxer-cycling-baggies-black/PLID41466860
  21. What was the basis of the non acceptance? Wow, that's quite a thing to go through...
  22. You tried Jim Green's? My pair is going on 20 years now and still strong.
  23. I have a lovely Stanley spoke shave too. Use that quite a bit. I'm now racking my brain for something to build with them this weekend
  24. I unpacked them last night. Models are a Bailey No. 4, a Record No. 5 1/2, and a Bailey No. 7 (this one is LARGE!), and a few others I didn't bother to check. The bad news is that I forgot how lovely these things are and I don't want to sell any. Sorry Ed They have huge sentimental value to me though and selling them would not be right.
  25. Will do. I'll get the model numbers and snap some pics this afternoon.
