  1. Are these new models?
  2. I was lucky Stung like hell though
  3. A common sight at home (Poor Ming) Congo banging out some tunes
  4. ROFL... NOW GO GET ME A NEW COFFEE!!!!
  5. Good stuff, the 650B Zula will be better geometry wise than the 26 with 650B wheels. That is a VERY capable bike.
  6. I've had a tyre blow off the rim while in my hand. Used the air at the garage, and was trying to get those last little pops. I'm sure the gauge still said about 2 bar, then BOOM. I think the gauge may have been faulty.
  7. There have been people putting 650B wheels on the 26" frame.
  8. As soon as I confirm what size I have, I'll be ordering too
  9. Cool, now to find some
  10. Yes, they can . It's what they choose to ban and the issue of proof It's like getting a fine for speeding but somebody not getting a fine for jumping a red light. Breaking the law in both instances. They can't ban you from riding your bike, but can ban you from the participating in their events. Kind of like a club/bar, a bouncer sees you fighting outside, he can ban you from coming in. Doesn't stop you going for a drink somewhere else, but you are not welcome there.
  11. Sorry, think they are 10mm
  12. LOL...Thanks for sorting me out
  13. Maybe it's just in Cape Town. Been told upteen times on thehubsa to go get track bolts from my LBS but nobody has. Also derailleur hanger bolts work too. But again, nobody has any spare, only with hangers.
  14. 8mm ID washers do the trick. Though the OD of the ones you get in packs at the hardware store, etc. are too big (at least for an MTB setup). Same bike shop happened to have a set of spacers like below that came with a set of SRAM chainring bolts http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTA2WDEyMDA=/z/dAYAAOxyVLNS3kL6/$_57.JPG
  15. Never been into ANY bike shop that has chainring bolts for single chain ring setups. They have packs of standard ones. ONE shop managed to find some in their spares boxes, and those they had ground down themselves. (They do a lot of SS builds) According to the shop. their suppliers just say to them "We're waiting for some to come" and then they don't hear back.
  16. They can be banned from PPA organised/sanctioned events. CSA can do the same
  17. Good prices on the Dakine gloves. I think I'm going on 2 years with mine (actually could be longer) Cross X MTB gloves https://swindle.co.za/shop/bike/gloves/mens-cross-x-mtb-glove-1555.html These exact ones
  18. FYI https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/13383-bb-external-bearings-the-cheap-rebuild/
  19. I've also seen just the collars/adapters for the non-drive side for sale on their own. I can't remember the brand but I see Hope make one as well http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/za/en/hope-bottom-bracket-truvativ-gxp-converter/rp-prod26899
  20. People keep saying that it's only 59s of video, what of the 2nd post in the thread? the account from the guy who took the video. Granted, it doesn't cover anything from "miles" up the road, but how far back do you want to take it?
  21. That's what I was afraid of. That's right near my house, if they went down Blue Valley Road/Bokkemanskloof. If possible Watchcon in Hout Bay should be notified ASAP when these things happen. There are many people on radios, also would have alerted the Bokkemanskloof guards. For future reference, if something happens in or near Hout Bay contact Watchcon at 021 790 9333
  22. As long as you have that spacer, then yes
  23. I've only had that issue with XTR BBs. I'll be due to replace/clean/service my BB in a few months time.
  24. It was quite a while ago and I haven't seen it in a while. I think they used it originally but it would be a lot cheaper for the to use the spacer as you can use standard bearings than to have propriety bearings made
