  5. The distance between the plates is the same, it's the thickness of the outer plates that differ.
  6. The Momsen ones look identical, AFAIK the Marsh guards are a different shape. The Mucky Nutz ones don't have the bit in the front
  7. How so? Why would 10 speed have more life than 9 speed?
  8. I used one of those clear plastic cutting "boards" (if I can call them that) to make one.
  9. Now, THAT looks good
  10. PhatTrikes was making something similar (personalised too) https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/84043-personalized-mud-guards/
  11. What's the Sony go for?
  12. If there has been some movement before, the splines on the non - drive side arm could be worn. This then accentuates the situation causing the bolt to undo itself easier. The Shimano crank might be the better option IMO. Though your lbs might be able to order just the arm. (Had the same problem and did this before with a FireX crank)
  13. No joked, that is an awesome bike. Only upgrade it might ever need is a new fork
  14. Looks like something in Saldahna too http://www.live2ride.co.za/mtb-trails/mtb-trail-cape-west-coast.htm Here's a map of the West Coast National Park (you can see where the MTB trail is) IIRC there's one downhill section that's a bit sandy, so be careful there. http://www.sanparks.co.za/images/parks/west_coast/maps/visitors_map.jpg
  15. Koeberg is great yes, you can MTB in the West Coast National Park. There is a route off the tar road, it's a bit of a ride on the tar. I'll try see if I can find a map. There are also some trails (at least there used to be) at the Fossil Park not too far away.
  16. What parts are you missing? Shifters? I have a set of 10 speed Deore shifters (right shifter only got used once before I got an XTR, left unused)
  17. I think somethings wrong in your calcs. There is a 25mm difference in overall diameter between 26" and 650B
  18. As a Newbie to thehubsa, you might not know that today is Fight Club Friday (Happens every Friday)
  19. Depends. There's 2m tall with longer legs or 2m tall with longer torso. Arm length also comes into it.
  20. Quick Question, does the prologue count towards the overall GC or just to decide starting position?
  21. I believe it's more like 99.99% rider.
  22. Yes Please!!!
