Richard from Cycle Fit did my cleats and I haven't had any issues with them. I think for cleats only they charge around R280.

Ride all three though and see what you feel comfortable on... As far as I know, Cycle Lab in Fourways stock all three of the above mentioned brands. Also remember that Cannondales sizing is different to most brands and a 56cm normal would be a 54cm Cannondale. AND once you have made you decision and collected your new bike, do yourself a favour and most definitely go for a bike fit. Cycle Fit are good.

All three of these bikes would be a good bet... I may be Cannondale biased, but despite the fact that its alloy, I'd go for the CAAD 10 with Shimano 105 in that range. Its said to be one of the lightest alloy bikes on the planet and lighter than a lot of carbon bikes.

Is it okay to skip a red if the truck that your are slipstreaming at 120km/h does the same?

I guess there is also a big difference between a cyclist/s yielding, then riding through a red light that has no traffic at the green at 5am and a cyclist/s blatantly flying through a red light on a main road. Not sure which category the original post is referring too, but I'm sure every cyclist (including the Pope) has done the former.

Is this on a MTB or road bike? Some saddles do have weight limits and there will definitely be one for heavier riders.

That does seem to be a good value for money bike. As mentioned by Cippo, the Cannondale CAAD10 with Ultegra is also in that price range. Although its an alloy frame (with carbon fork) its probably as light and a superb bike with the same geometry as the Cannondale range topping EVO. Worth considering in my opinion.

As far as I know, Cycle Lab in Fourways (which is close to you), have beginner cycling groups. That will be a good way to learn from other riders as well as get in some longer rides. I'd also get those gears checked at a bike shop and when you feel that the cycling bug has bit, then look at upgrading. Not sure whether you prefer road of MTB, but often its a good bet to get a MTB and for road rides or a goal like a 50km 'race', you can always pop on some slick tires which will make the world of difference compared to knobbly MTB tires. Keep it up though!

I think you should share these videos with Coca Cola on social media and let them go viral. These could be really damaging to a major corporate.
