  6. Hey guys Ive had Conti Protection XKing front and RaceKing rear and Ive converted Geax Mezcals front and rear. The rear feels good with no issues..the front however feels loose and gripless once things start getting hairy and I actually lost the front wheel and bought some property the other day on a section I do regularly I'm running them tubeless with about 1.3-1.4 bar front with 1.5 bar rear. Is the mezcal good as a front tyre? I defnetly need more grip. I was looking at an ardent for the front or even a geax sagauro...Help! The Vitoria Barzo looks interesting
  7. I hate you... donner maar sys mooi! Specs please and weight!
  8. Thanks my bru. The tyres actually weigh 601g so I doubt I'll get much lighter than that. With ESI grips I'll save about 300g but then my hands go all numb Really don't know where to save weight

  14. Today again... The Tacx skyliner makes a huge difference in the stability while on the trainer ! Did not have time to test the tyres yet
  15. The wheels have been chilling in my room for almost 6 weeks now just waiting for some rubber and new discs..Everything on the wheels are brand new. Got the tyres yesterday after lots of thought into which tyres to go for. The R299 @ CWC seeled the deal for me. The hubs are loud but not irritating...just Lekkkkeeeerrrrrrrrrr....zzzZZZZZZzzZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZZzz. Tyres fitted easily, just needed some elbow grease, good grip @ 1.2bar front and 1.5bar rear. The All Mountain frame guard is the BUSINESS! Took it really easy this morning, only did 13km/hr ave, Ill be able to do a proper test in the week!! Have an AWESOME Saturday guys and gals!
  16. I will do so yes. Just something I noticed, the rear is very tight when I rotate the axel in my hand. Its smooth yet tight. When I removed the bearings they are butter smooth and loose. The bearings fit is really tight, sortof needs to be "pressed" in. Is this normal? I bought the hubs 2nd hand.
  17. Not worried at all. Just using it as a point of reference for others who would like to purchase the product.
  18. Got this to help with the top end for the K2C, Rapide 36t NW (100g).. A bit on the heavy side, when comparing it to the superstar components 32t NW (41g), it is 2.5 times heavier than the superstar. the clearance with the chainstay is about 2mm so I might have to adjust the crank's spacing. Nothing beats Rapide for price at the moment. Thank you Rapide for the speedy delivery! will take it for a spin tomorrow
  19. There prices have also gone up..paid £66 for a set of switch evos in Feb this year with shipping. The rear hub alone is £60 i think, without shipping a set is going to set you back like £90...HULLE IS MAL!!!
  20. Crc deal is not bad @ all.. dont forget the 15.4% tax. Even with that added its still cheap...delivery from crc abt 5days
  21. Really enjoyed the 60k today...defnetly need to do much more training for next year. Loved the mud bath I received today too
