Can someone explain to me who is allowed to ride? In the masters it looks like anyone can ride but surely this cant be the case in the elite mens.

I don't know how similar it is but try Montana spray paint, what the writer use on walls and trains etc. Way better quality than the standard stuff you get at the hardware and much less than R200 a can. Can anyone tell me if this is ok? I lost a pair of glasses at the Knysna 200 over the weekend, glasses in helmet vents when I took a tumble and they came loose. I was told by the insurer that I needed to fill out the form and get a quote for a replacement pair. Specialized no longer made glasses so I was told by my LBS that Rudy project was the closest alternative, the insurer said that it was fine that I use this quote. The quote given was for R2395 while my original Specialized cost me R1195. I send the form and quote in and my insurer came back saying that I would be paid R900 (R1150 less R250 excess). I am actually quite happy with this but as this is no where near enough to replace my lost pair I was wondering if this was fair?

Not sure if this is old news but I've just noticed that Sram has brought/is bringing out a new greoupset with a single ring at the front and 11 at the back. What are your thought and opinions on this? It looks pretty cool but would it be practical for cross country riding if you not a pro?

Ok, first to put this in some context. I ride a hard tail 29er, love the single track and feel most comfortable being outs the saddle for most of the track. I am not sure if anyone else has this problem and if its common or if I'm doing something wrong but I find all my shorts seem to be wearing through on the inside of the thigh. I assume it is from being out of my saddle alot. Is this common? Am I doing it wrong? I know this is going to get some rather interesting comments but here goes...
