Just out of curiosity what is the team build up for csc? Other than Jeremy Maaartens amd hannachi who else on that team is strong enough to support DG? No disrespect to any of them cos they are all outstanding athletes but i just dont see any of them being strong enough to support DG for the win if Chris jnr aint riding..... any thoughts

I am doing two laps with my mates. Hopefully, should we all negotiate the A bunch safely we will resume the course again and join in on the festival I really hope we have great weather on the day, some Sun this year and no wind.

Yeah i cant agree more, allow me to blow all your minds away with this. I weighed around 80kg middle december last year. I now weigh 71kg. My power to weight ratio is in orbit! You have no idea how much faster you go all of the sudden on the bike, muscles last longer and i finish feeling great. I now actually look forward to the hills. Good luck in loosing weight, it's tough but the benefits are amazing. Yeah, that is awesome endurance but that man is something phenomenal! A couple of mates and myself are planning on doing it a second time should we all negotiate the first lap safely.

Dont do what i did last night, u'll feel like sh!t the next day. 7 x Tequila shots 1 x single brandy and coke half a bottle of red wine and a glass of water I woke up in my clothes this morning and i hope my wallet is still in my buddies car or somewhere in my house. I have the ec70 setapost as well, riding a BMC. Maybe try and get another seatpost try perhaps an aluminium sleeve that can wedge between the seatpost and the seat tube.

I think that pro races should definately be longer and run in a safe abstracted manner from regular competitors Often, and i speak from experience here, that when fast and slow riders merge, the consequences are not nice. One solution - is to seperate them, the fees will go up, more road closure and trafficking but you gotta pay if you want safety. I am sure the microsoft/mtn boys will make an apology, they are a great bunch of talented riders. In the heat of the moment, adrenalin pumping, nerves frailed, fatigue we all do and say things we dont mean. I have done it many times before. I am sure they feel bad about the lady, i would feel terrible and i would definately have stopped, althouhg the chances of me being in a final sprint for victory in a national classic are slim at best. I hope the lady is okay
