    Last month odd when I last rode Jonkers, I made a point of asking at gate where am i allowed to ride and where not (had not been there in forever). The reply went something like this "If you can get there you can ride it, over weekends there are no limits." I would recommend some better information availability at the gate specifically at the person that you pay/sign in. Would also help to have some signs indicating how to get to trail xyz making it easier for those that don't know to find open trails. My 2c hope it helps

    yea except camping is on other side of Sedgefield making total trip to park about 30-40km. There is Teniqua Treetops but they are pretty pricey, my wife will like that on other hand

    Wish they had camping spots closer to Barrington so I could ride all day !

    Please try and use anti size on the pedal thread and rather disassemble the pedal and re-grease than using Q20. Q20 is a solvent cleaner with thin oil lubricant it will not lubricate the axle for very long and since it has removed grease your click/creak will come back with a vengeance. I have had this click with many of my pedals re-grease always fixes the problem. Just make sure to do it ASAP to prevent major wear. When re-greasing pedal Ill always go through the process of cleaning the thread for crank as well so could be either of the two fixing it.

    Thanks to this thread I am currently completing my 1993 Ice planet space lego collection... Chose to buy the bricks from Bricklink as I don't have the rest of the sets boxes anyway. Got a few packets of bricks so far and really happy even though its all used the stuffs in great condition. Unfortunately I also saw the new Technic Mercedes Benz Acrox with Pnuematics and motors... quite a costly set though. Maybe in few months Ill be in a better position to buy it....

    I figure the reason he is slightly slow is due to talking while riding. The distraction reduces the amount of speed slightly. Still I can't even ride half of that stuff!

    So upset i missed it yesterday! Fortunately i could watch at work yay! Awesome run he is flying! Wonder if he ok after that hit with the route marker.

    That will be very hard to get. Let's be honest now even a hard tail with good components will be hard.

    Honestly if i had to buy a new MTB. I would decide what type of riding I wish to do and find a trail to test all diff bikes on. Then i would test the hell out of everything! And the final winner will be the one that i keep dreaming about.

    I need to loose the weight so the bike doesn't leave me! Normally I am around 110kg currently upto 116kg.

    Elbow yes. Knees donno. I run the Elbows for every ride other than road(yes i have considered it here). I currently wear some lizard skinz shin guards and they work the bomb. (Flat pedal bite prevention) My raceface knee/shin pads are horrible for the uphill as they chafe just above the knee. I would replace the elbow's with same in a heartbeat. I have considered getting the knee guards however ill likely go for the Leatt Knee/Shin guards now.
