  6. That screw keeps the mineral oil (brake fluid) where it's supposed to be. Without it, your brakes are essentially useless, suggest you visit your bike shop, before you ride again

  9. I tried it again this week after whoosh had ANOTHER update and i had limited time to get on the trainer. I like the new interface and the ERG training mode works great BUT Does anyone know how to get rid of the menu button? it stays on the screen the whole time (with whoosh and Zwift it dissapears after a while) and cover the training graph at the bottom of the screen running it on Android
  10. not on whoosh, but I've done something similar my last training block for 36One and it rained for a week straight

  13. R7200 and they kept the old device, which was useless to me in any case. It can be an admin issue depending onthe garmin agent and moonphase, but it's worth it. I paid R6k for my fenix6, with this upgrade I'm R13k in for a device that retails between 18 and 24k, #notkak they probably will. I've gone this route a few times and only once have they messed it up but then ended up getting a much better device (they lost my wife's vivoactive 3 and replaced with a fenix6s pro)
  14. as expected my 5y/o fenix 6 was "irrepareable" I sent it to them on 23 July, and got offered a fenix 8 amoled (47mm), which arrived yesterday.
  15. do they still offer the replacement at a discounted price?
  16. My Fenix 6 is on its way to Garmin for repairs, long story short the menu button stopped working, I'll see what comes off it as the recent garmin repair process reviews seems iffy for the last while. Anyway, I'm considering getting something new and was looking at the 7x Pro Solar, but I'm now seriously considering the Enduro 3, purely for the battery life, let's hope SARS comes to the party with tax season.....
