  1. Also in for this one, doing the 20 with my dad - he is starting to cycle again after a few months off the bike
  2. Glad you are OK. Areas are getting less and less that you can safely ride alone or in a small group
  3. Couldn't make the one earlier in the year, definitely in for this one
  4. Here is the link - http://rekordcenturion.co.za/71200/women-attacked-in-groenkloof/ Looks the same as the one posted by Hennie however
  5. I would have joined had I not been away on holiday
  6. Ahhh crap!!! That sucks... was hoping for some great action in the Alps But his health is more important, wishing him the best and a speedy recovery!
  7. I have seen it at quite a few shops, can't remember all of them but I have bought it previously at Tool-up cycles and Torqzone in Centurion. And I am sure I have seen it at Summit Cycles, and Solomons Woodmead as well
  8. +1 Then there is also http://www.tool-upcycles.co.za/ and although I haven't personally been there yet, there is also http://www.thebicyclecompany.co.za/about-the-bicycle-company
  9. My last badge is also not showing - after my ride this morning i'm over 600km. To re-sync the profile also doesn't work
  10. Only had a single ride last week , so still need the 30hrs, 5895m and 600km. But if all goes according to plan I should have them all by Sunday morning
  11. Still need the 5895m, 600km and 30hrs. Should make them easily enough with 2 weeks left
  12. I agree with you on that, had to do a few hill repeats on Sunday to make up those final few hundred meters
  13. Me and a mate cycle to Rosemary Hill from the Silver Lakes area almost every weekend and have never had any issues there. We pass a few people on the gravel roads and have never felt threatened - but we do stay alert. No issues at Rosemary Hill either.
  14. Nice cars, my dad drives a diesel one - very comfortable ride, lots of power, light on fuel and nice big boot with lots of packing space
  15. I also raised a concern with the dealership but they advised that it is because of the towbar design. But to answer your question, yeah mine is the same - it is the design of the removable Bosal towbar, and because of the clearance between the goose neck and the fitted part of the towbar when the pin is pushed through it can move a little bit to either side. I wouldn't know about other removable towbars in general but definitely for this one it is normal. I have had my car for just over 2 years, and have had no issues
  16. If they fitted a removable Bosal towbar to your vehicle it is normal that it will have a slight wiggle from left to right. I have the same vehicle and have no issues with the fact that the towbar with the bike rack wiggles from side to side if I drive over an uneven surface - it was however a bit unnerving in the beginning
  17. Good looking bike!!! Hope you enjoy every second of it
  18. Hope I'm not too late...contribution made. PM sent Jokerman923
  19. Hi, I am not quite a first time mountain biker but have only recently started riding again. I would be interested in something like this to get to know the ropes again
