I would try spectrum sports or Racetec first, Racetec did the timing on Spectrum Sports' behalf as far as I understand it

189cm, XL Spez - was previously on a Large Scott. Always felt cramped on the Scott, my height kind of put me in between the L and XL in the Scott range, and I think the shop tried to flog the Large and at that point I didn't know enough about bike sizes to dispute their recommendation. Road Bike is a 56cm - don't think it is exactly the right size for me, but I ride it less than 5 times a year so don't really mind.

I think there is a tracking unit issue, for example David Cubbin definitely started - i've seen photos of him at Water point #1 - but his tracking unit is still showing 0km

I need some advice please. I currently have an Ardent on the Front and an Ikon at the rear, but I have noticed the Ikon is wearing rather quickly and will have to be replaced soon. I previously had a Crossmark on the back, but don't want to go that route again - I am not a fan of Conti's or Schwalbe. So was wondering how is the Vittoria Saguaro as a rear tyre? By looking at the knobs it looks like it will have better rolling resistance than a Barzo for example. I might as well buy a front tyre at the same time, so if my assumption above is correct about the Barzo rather being a front tyre, should I get a Barzo for the front or stick with Ardent/Ardent race? I "need" to buy some goodies from CWC so I might as well buy everything in one go. Thank you

Yes too late in the year, if you want it to count you can pay to reseed at 947, I did this in 2015 when satellite classic was my only good race

Love riding around Montagu, so many dirt roads around you can literally ride for hours (as long as you take enough to drink as it gets really hot like you pointed out). And it is a bonus that it is breathtakingly beautiful. Awesome pics by the way
