  1. I phoned CSA today... Registration is from 26Sept-28Sept at Cycle Lab Little Falls. They couldn't tell me times exactly

    Amashova 2013

Just received an email with my race number and starting time. I can already feel the butterflies doing the back stroke in my stomach
  5. There is a replay of the TTT on DSTV 206 at the moment
  6. I was trying to chase down the AL break away leaders but the wind made it a bit tuff. I got up with one of the guys that dropped out of the leader group around the 16km mark and him and I stuck together to the end. We managed 2:42
  7. If there HAS to be wind... i hope it's a tail wind for the second half of the race. The profile looks tough pretty much from the 30km mark
  8. Entires extended until today
  9. Very cold and windy start but got warmer as the day progressed... the wind didn't die down unfortunately. Was still an enjoyable race
  10. Entry done
  11. Think i might join in with the VA bunch.. will most probably enter tonight
  12. If the wind is in your favour... i'm pretty sure a 2:30 ish is possible... Still damn quick though. Sho, my poor legs
  13. This will be my first one as well. But i believe it flat and quick. I just hope the wind stays away, but looking at the weather forecast for the weekend, i highly doubt it
  14. Yip, I am... i got the email a short while ago. Also saw that Racetec will do the timing
  15. Who will be timing the Campus2Campus?
  16. So is tomorrow 4:30 or 5am again? I now know where the Bushwillow complex is, so i can meet you guys there rather. Definitely keen on another ride tomorrow morning.
  17. Wiggins is a good climber yes, but it seems as if he always starts suffering a bit when the pace gets a bit to fast on the hills. He keeps a good momentum going, but as soon as there is an interference on the pace, he tends to struggle to get back into tempo... maybe he proves me wrong
  18. He is built for speed this dude
  19. I'd much rather take my chances in the Lic group then... i hope i would qualify (do have race lic)
  20. Jatho Thanks a mil for the group ride this morning. It was an awesome chilled ride and good to meet all you okes. I will definitely be joining you guys regularly. Cheers
  21. I'm REALLY contemplating on entering this race... pondering pondering
  22. Ja i understand it was a very wet and cold start to the race. Pretty much the same as yesterday, although yesterday it did clear up nicely
  23. I'm in stiches about this, BWAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!
  24. I managed to catch the last few kilometres of the opening stage yesterday, with Elia Viviani taking the opening stage victory. Mark Cavendish had a good sprinting setup but then got boxed in and couldn't get out of a bad spot. Real nasty crash with only a few metres to go saw a large amount of bunch riders going down, which was the result of a bit of pushing and shoving amongst the group.
  25. For what it's worth, i spoke to a client of mine the other day... just random chat and he mentioned that he sufferes from restless legs. I have no clue what it is and my knowledge on this stretches as far as hearing an advert on the radio endorsed by Zola Budd. This dude mentioned to me that he drinks red pepper?? Yip, that is what he said, red pepper... says its sorts him out for a long while but then needs to drink it again after a few weeks or so. How that would taste... sho
