  1. I must be doing the wrong races, I have never been presented with anything else besides watered down energade or warm flat coke. Monster nogals.
  2. After every big race, we have beer and pizza. Everytime. Its a tradition, when I struggle in the race, the thought of beer and pizza takes me to the finish. Back on topic, if I had to chose one of the three, coke light, the amount of sugar in coke is just stupid.
  3. True words. I cant wait for it. Bring on 9 March.
  4. Sunday weather forecast up in the 40s at this stage. Could be the toughest race so far this year.
  5. Plenty of empty sachets on the R44 when I drove to a client this morning. Disgusting, this is my hometown, worst of all is these young farm kids who pick up these sachets and suck the remaining gel out. Highly dangerous to them. Some people just dont give a f%@k.
  6. Agreed, dont blame poor Murphy. Get some Stans.
  7. yuckie
  8. Dagga cookies. Seriously dude. How can you endorse people littering. In the beautifull Boland countryside.
  9. Cure your illness.
  10. As someone who started midfield and finished midfield. The gravel was shocking, the early bunches cut the road up and it was like riding on beach sand. We were doing 5km/h, even the guys on mtb were struggling. *** idea. All round good race, great weather. However I agree with previous posts about seeding. Plenty of the takkie boys in early groups, caught them quickly. However plenty of serious cyclists with dream machines in groups s and t and below. Dont understand that.

    Argus MTB

55 sold out. My own stupidity, waited too long to enter. Damn
  12. I bought the Allez, the Tarmacs little Alu brother. Being a Mtb rider it is not the best bike for me, but the Roubaix is just incredible. Rode it for 5 minutes and realized this is the bike for me.
  13. Busy saving for one. I cant wait.
  14. W seeding for me. Gonna be a long day. Really dont know how they came up with that.
  15. I think you are being very polite only calling him a "poephol".
  16. I also dont quite understand the logic behind that. The entry fee however is just absurd. I unfortunately need to do some races before Argus.
  17. totally reasonable considering the entry fee and *** marshalling. Sworks is being a idiot.
  18. the wind was insane. Never ever ridden in wind like that. Tough tough race
  19. CL, no idea if it is good or bad.
  20. Leaving Cape Town bright and early tomorrow morning. Looking forward to my first Herald. Really excited.
  21. Agreed, I love the sound. Sound flippen amazing, better than the v8s to me.
  22. You Sir, are very well informed. But ja, thats exactly what I think.
  23. S-works is on another planet dude. Gold medal winning bike, Cape Epic winning bike, racing machine. R65k for a bike with xt components is a bit steep for me. Maybe when I win the lotto or become a member of parliament I can afford that. I still like the Santa Cruz, make no mistake. But for R 65k I expect at least xx, or at least xo, carbon rims and some other things.
  24. True. Cant argue with that dude.
