  1. Buys, absolutely. Nino, I dont think so.
  2. You have some very strong theories. could you also clarify if the moon landing is real or fake and if indeed Bigfoot does exist.
  3. I agree, the Tv coverage is weak. Also, after showing us the pros, show us some of the real heroes. The guys and girls with dayjobs, achieving a dream. Just a thought.
  4. I like what you didi there. Scary as hell though.
  5. Judging by Vettels speed in Fp 2, you could well be right. He was right on the pace. I will be the first to admit, I did not think they would turn it around so quickly. Kimi looking mighty strong. He is a serious contender this weekend. So far the Ferrari engine has been the most reliable. Go Kimi.
  6. Thats very interesting. Thanks
  7. I shall have mine in green. Thankyou
  8. Ja, thats why I am asking. Not too sure either. Sasha and them on absolute F1 made it sound like its not a Fia sensor and indeed a Red Bull design. Again, I am asking here, Sasha also not always correct.
  9. So, who got up early to watch free practice 1 this morning. I know its early days, fp1 , and we cant read too much into it. seems as if Red Bull are still struggling, Lotus stil cant manage more than a handfull of laps. Only real surprise to me was Kimi, looked flippen good this morning, 2nd quickest. Early days, but looking forward to the race for sure. Love the circuit. Oh ja, does anyone know if Red Bull changed the fuel sensor to the FIA one, or are they sticking to their guns and using their own one.
  10. Very good advice. I think you covered most of it. Maybe a shock pump as it will have a air shock.
  11. Thats a good looking machine. Very nice of them to do that. Looks like the bike that Sauser is riding this year?
  12. correct me if I am wrong, one was on a Spez S-works, and the other on a Canondale. Weird indeed.
  13. So far all the games in round 6 have been won by the home team. Bulls game currently heading the same way.
  14. Since I cannot support the stompies anymore, same boring rugby week after week, and old Toetie Coetzee promising the same things for the last 4 years. Lions and Sharks have my support this year.
  15. I can pull off the look if I try really hard . But within the first 150 metres of the race they will realize I am a poser. Just shows you what kind of influence sales people can have on newbies.
  16. I remember when I bought my first helmet years back, the saleslady told me to buy a road helmet. I told her I only do mtb, she then proceeded to tell me all the pros wear road helmets on mtb and I will look like a pro aswell. But ja, since then road helmets do seem lighter and offer more airflow.
  17. Absolutely, agreed. As soon as sales people work on commission you can kiss any good advice goodbye. They will sell you whatever has the biggest margin, btw, that does not mean most expensive. I had a friend who worked for the Pro shop, golf store. He always recommended the same clubs, no matter what your needs or skill or expectations were. Because they were affordable, super dooper *** clubs, and sold for 3 x what they paid for them. He smiled every month when he got his cheque. I remember when I bought my first bike way back, went to a couple of shops, yet all the Cycle Lab stores wanted to sell me a Focus, all of them. Obviously a cash cow. Now I have a relationship with my local bike shop. It works out great. I give him money, he saves me troubles. Perfect.
  18. Such sad news. Flippen hate these posts. Breaks my heart. Hope you get your pride and joy back.
  19. It has to be one of the carbon momsens. Much better value. Some horror stories on the hub regarding Scott aftersales service. Merida just has no WOW factor for me, yet everytime I see a Momsen I drool a little.
  20. Thats horrible dude. I hate having to absolutely check and double check absolutely everything these days, from your change at the till to your car after a service. Flippen ***. Luckily one thing I have is a reliable lbs, thank goodness, I cant tell you how awsome it is. In return for the great service I buy everything from them, even if its 5 Rand cheaper somewhere else. Mutual respect.
  21. Agreed, walking in them are terrible, they also have minimal tread on the bottom for walking compared to the cheaper ones. Saw the 2014 models today, R3999, ouch. Picked up a new pair of 2013 for R1999 about three weeks ago. Worth every penny.
  22. No problem, and again this is a personal preference. The s-works shoes have much better material around the foot, more ventilation and because of the stiff sole you dont feel the pedals at all. Also those things you turn to tighten the cables, no clue what they are called, are miles ahead of velcro. So for me, my feet feel less tired after a long ride. You can feel they are lighter aswell, def makes a difference.
  23. I have Specialized comp shoes and Specialized S-works shoes. Difference is a couple of grams. However, the S-works has a carbon sole en its much stiffer and waaaay more comfy. Not always about weight, also the s-works shoes dry out very quickly once they were wet which helps when doing stage races.
  24. absolutely want one, hell yes.
  25. Eugene, welcome on the Hub. Ek ken jou van paintball op Ruan se veld. . Ons gaan hom ry, gaan baie nice wees.
