I think there should be meetings with "rural/informal settlement" leaders. I know the wind was a major factor and the fire made it difficult for emergancy services. We have had a lot of success talking to some of the leaders where we live regarding strikes, claims ect

When I heard it was cancelled I thought it was a joke. Why not postpone the starts with an hour or so, but seeing all the other contributing factors I personally think the right call was made. It is what it is. We will get over it.
