  1. My proud lil hardtail, so much fun to ride!
  2. Love the old and new mix going on there, looks sick man nice work
  3. I have 2 pairs of rangers, love them, my third will be the attack Q4. They are the biz!
  4. I ordered mine through my Lbs, payed 3k. They ordered it from cape town, was here within 2 days
  5. New additions. Can't believe how smooth this fork is for the price, and it's light too! Very stoked
  6. Schwinn for the win. Remote lockout is handy, lock it on those long steep up hills. IMO just a luxury gadget you don't really need on an entry level bike... Good luck, and welcome to the hub!
  7. Condolences. I grew up with 2 staffers, my best friends, amazing dogs. They passé away at 13 a year apart both on Easter. 16 years is a great innings
  8. I have seen them selling on DHgate.com not sure if they real but the are almost half the price of the ones at ape union
  9. Great post/ article You would think that with the World Cup around the corner, new players oozing with fesh talent would be given the opportunities to play not only in terms of experience but new combinations. Not to mention our lock combination. We run the risk of one day putting an inexperienced, fresh young team in a tough test situation unprepared. What ever happened to the mix of youth and experience?! We should be building a squad of 36, not 23... Bottom line
  10. Ya I'm in the same boat, weight wise it's ok, does the one you ordered have the new Q-lock thru axle?
  11. Hi guys I'm looking at getting a suntour epicon 29er fork. Cheapish, lightish, and good bang for your buck! I need to know where to look? Lbs in kzn, or online... Aliexpress have them but never used them before? Does anyone have any experience with them? Your help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
  12. Racing jacket all the way!
  13. Take it out, clean the seatpost, clamp and insertion in the frame. Then grease with normal bearing grease, I use castrol, a tub cost me 50 bucks. I had the same issue and now been squeak free for many a mile.
  14. Agreed! Also have one and I use it for late afternoon rides in winter and rainy overcast days in summer. Breaks the wind a bit but definitely not a solid winter jacket
  15. I know this May have nothing to do with the problem, but what rim tape did u use?
  16. Those were valve bouncing proper!
  17. Maximis

    Which brakes?

No experience with formula R1s, but the xtrs are bomb proof!
  18. +1 on the momsen. The merida big nine tfs 300 is also a great bike, quality frame and well specced. Good luck
  19. Looks awesome!
  20. Sorry to hear! Good to hear they caught the dooshbag
  21. That's a shocker! I would go back and complain. If your bill was under a grand or so then ya maybe you get what you pay for. But for what you payed, your bike should spotless, perfect, and race ready. I would be furious! I serviced my bike about a month ago, did most of my bike ( the areas I was familiar with ) except fork service and new cables. Was relatively quick, easy, and affordable. I then had the piece of mind that my bike was sorted!
