  1. Have a look at the recent santacruz ad, no info given, and a half picture... And for 50000? Almost like they don't want to sell it... Very annoying
  2. Merida big nine tfs range is awesome bang for ur buck. Tfs 300 is abt 8k, and the 500 is abt 10k, only diff is the rockshox. Frames are well built and great to upgrade on. Momsen range is also great. Good luck
  3. How much and from where? Looks awesome!
  4. The zaskar 9er sport is a decent buy, as far as I know, comes with external bb, 10spd, rockshox recon solo air ( I think ) great looking bike as well. Merida big nine tfs 500 is also a great bike, decent drive train, a friend bought one a few months back and he is stoked with it. That being said, the momsens are great, and local! Good luck
  5. Haha what is that? Check if it tjoooobless first...
  6. Merida big nine tfs300 is also under 8k in some stores, decent components for price, if you can't find any, go momsen
  7. Breakfast is key. Exercising 45 mins before can also lift your resting metabolic rate, which if sustained with 4 other meals throughout the day, should get rid of that afternoon slump. Good luck
  8. How canvenient...
  9. Maroon and yellow route awesome. Ask about the 4km single track section the the forest, quality!
  10. They all flew away!
  11. Scott.
  12. Best quick link to get then? For 10 spd xt chain...
  13. Hi guys! Is a chain cleaner worth the buy? I have always washed my chain myself, I do it regularly after every major ride... Have done so for many years now. Is it worth me rather using a chain cleaner? Do they work as well or better? Are they easy to use? IMO there's nothing more important to me than starting a ride with a shiny chain and spotless drive train. Shot
  14. Merida big nine tfs 500 for about 9500 in certain shops. Decent components, rock stocks recon gold or silver I think? The big nine tfs frames received awesome reviews, great frame to upgrade on! I have one and very happy with it! There's also a gt for about the same price, not sure about the model but also a great bike. Good luck!
  15. Nooooo! That came out of a Christmas cracker
  16. Support SA brands people!
  17. I put the above mentioned brakes, older ones, on my bike. Got them for 1200 from easy bike. I'm so happy with them, the stopping power is incredible and they look great. The levers are short which suits one finger braking. IMO they are as good as slx and I have used slx. There's my 2cents! Good luck
  18. Throw a set of ztr or American classic and I think the anthem will be a decent enough race bike. I haven't heard of any rear shock issues with the anthem either. The 29er anthem reviews are really good. It's an efficient and reliable option. The Scott's have had their rear shock issues but do look good. Form over function or function over form? I'd take the latter.
  19. Giant all the way, great value for money
  20. I've done some 40kms by myself and never had an issue. However, everyone has a different experience
