  1. I'm super keen on a rigid fork for my Scott Scale. Just so hard to find them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I know not the same but.......I like what JUMA did last year. Cancelled event and then gave all entrants a choice. Automatic entry into new scheduled event or could ask for your money back. To me that was a win win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I never had the privilege of meeting Barry except for a few interactions right here on the hub. Without doubt, the world had lost one of the good guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Exactly unfortunately. And that's why I am saying. Their days and monopoly are numbered. As more suburbs are deployed with fibre and cost effective wireless they will lose the light. Pun intended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. My suburb was lit up in Jan with fibre. Been running 100Mb since mid-Jan. I have no words! R999 all in uncapped, unshaped & unthrottled from CoolIdeas. It's like someone downloaded the World Wide Web onto my local network. I booted DSTV completely over a year ago. Booted Telkom completely in Jan. Their stranglehold on consumers will end. And it will be too late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Formula 1...

I still maintain. Just change two rules. One, no composite brakes. Two, FIA standard issued rear wing issued to each team for the race weekend. If the FIA control the air coming off the cars they can change the whole aero package and limit the wild front ends. Will also be able to create wings that create less turbulent air behind the cars thus allowing closer following. Steel brakes will triple the braking distance and actually allow decent overtaking. I mean seriously, the current cars go from 300km/h to 60km/h in about 80 meters, not even Houdini can outbrake a full length of a car off the racing line in that distance. 7. Slowly people are getting gatvol and starting to vote with their wallets. Multichoice will eventually feel the pain. I personally kicked them to the curb over a year ago, kicked Telkom and Vodacom too. I refuse to sign contracts with large businesses that bully. I pay for services monthly. If I feel I'm not getting a good deal, I go elsewhere. Simple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Entered and Paid. [emoji123][emoji123] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Rode the 40km. Perfect!! Great job guys. Really enjoyed it. [emoji123] I live by the BDF cycling pledge. One day. Every day. #9Rules
  10. Did The Fast One 40km this morning with Tyler. Nothing beats spending time with them, regardless of the activity. This was his last day before becoming a teenager tomorrow!! I live by the BDF cycling pledge. One day. Every day. #9Rules
  11. Clearly he's fulfilling sponsor obligations to his new riding gear supplier. Every bloody pic is of his kit one way or another. I hate it when athletes are like "aaaah, this is the best bike I've ever ridden, oooooh this dork is like butter, wow, these pants are like......." then next year, same story but with the complete opposite stuff. 12. Dammit. Missed online. Didn't read it closed at 9am. Will there be entries on the morning? I live by the BDF cycling pledge. One day. Every day. #9Rules
  13. Next to nothing I'm sure. We ride that area all the time. Great riding but flat. I'd be surprised if the 35km has more than 300m. So come along and have fun. I live by the BDF cycling pledge. One day. Every day. #9Rules
  14. +1000 Absolute deal breaker. And it wouldn't matter that I was fat because I would have killed everyone by 10am day 1. I live by the BDF cycling pledge. One day. Every day. #9Rules
  15. Wow. Sounds so awesome. Can't believe I'm out the country that weekend. #sadface I live by the BDF cycling pledge. One day. Every day. #9Rules

    Formula 1...

I'm not a Hamilton fan but I have no issue with what he did. Winning is not always about going flat out. It's about beating the competition within a set of given rules. Team orders, whatever, these guys are not at the pinnacle of their chosen sport because they "play nice with others". They are selfish single minded focused warriors. If they weren't, they'd be on the couch with us watching :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Internals are all the same. Which is cool. Not like Sunnto etc who skimp on battery capacity etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I have the Fenix 3 and absolutely love it. First "heart rate" monitor watch I've had that does everything else so well. There are guys in my office that have bought them that don't even run or cycle! However, have a look at this as a cheaper option. Still does a heck of a lot and will leave a couple of grand in your pocket. http://shop.navworld.co.za/forerunner-235.html Please don't make the mistake and buy something else for the wrong reasons. You'll cry in 6 months time and end up spending the money anyway. Trust me on this, I a repeated pro on this mistake. I "settle" and then regret it so much I end up buying what I actually wanted in the first place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. You going to be VERY disappointed bud.
  20. Wines 2 Whales Ride. Day 2 about 25km in.
  21. Another great event. Had a blast. Can definitely see the effects of the drought throughout the course unfortunately. Nice small changes from last year. Cannot wait for 2017 edition!!
  22. I hate Discovery. I'm "forced" to use them because it's the only Medical Aid my company subsidizes. So I can't afford to move. If my company changed their policy. I'd be gone in 60 seconds.
  23. Rims came in from CRC and were R1350 each after vat etc. I would have purchased locally but nobody had stock. I used existing hubs off my Camber. Wayne from Rapide did the wheel build for me. Wayne built them with double butted spokes and matched the nipples to my Camber Green. Best money I've spent on my bike in a looooong time.
  24. Yoh!! No words. Rode at Wolwespruit this morning with the new hoops. Grip and Comfort for days! Lower pressure but you can really feel the bigger volume. Transforming stuff!
  25. Going wide on my Camber.... Getting these built up tomorrow. Flow MK3's 29mm internal.
