  1. It has already cost them. I've just added a few more policies for me and the wife. Initially all were Discovery products but I ended up giving them nothing. Not a cent. They have so much fine print in everything they offer.
  2. Send an email to VITALITYESCALATIONS@discovery.co.za Include a link to your ride which will show HR data, duration etc. They will review and adjust if your ride was worth more than the 100 points allocated. Assume you ride HR average was over 70% of your Age Max.
  3. 300 is not the minimum. A 3+ hour ride under 70% will only get you 100 points. He's 21 years old. That's an ave of 139 and even with intervals during those sessions his ave is in the high 120's for the ride. On the flip side, rode with my 70 year old dad today, he averaged 118% of his age max for 45min. I wish he was on my vitality. :-)
  4. So seems you were a bit short so resolved. However there are issues sometimes with points allocations. Simply email vitality with a link to the exercise and they fix it chop chop. I have at least two a month they allocate 100 too when it should be 300.
  5. @Myles, my 20min power threshold test didn't get me an average that high. And I vomited after the effort. Age:40. I've got a mate who finishes in the top 20 in all MTB races he enters and he cannot meet his Disco goals due to the stupid way Disco measure effort. Debated to death here already. Of course those who have naturally high HR data don't understand.
  6. I swiped the other day. Didn't even both to go through the turnstile. Just handed over card, turned around. Smiled and Waved.

Brad and Darrin were at Vereeniging yesterday doing some Motard. Spent some time with the locals and kids. Too bloody cool. My mates lightie met his hero.
  8. The only thing that has happened over a few weeks is a 700, 800 & now 900 target. 3 weeks to be exact. If what you suggest above was true my target wouldn't have gone up every week. It would have gone up 100 points every "few" weeks.
  9. So I missed my 800 target for last week as I was a bit ill and didn't ride Thursday. Wake up today to a 900 target. Seems the algorithm used was written by a moron.

  14. 800 this week for my sins. Going to have to start paying attention now. But still easily doable.

I don't care how much talent JL93 has. He doesn't have the DNA to be remembered as one of the greats. No matter how many championships he wins or what the record books say. People won't remember him.
  17. Garmin Express is supported on Mac. Pretty much only used it once for initial setup and have use Bluetooth ever since. Even SW updates done over Bluetooth. The Connect App is in a web interface and works with all main browsers so no issue there either. So yes, you fully covered on Mac with Garmin. My Fenix 3 is the best device I've ever owned. Used for Running, MTB, connects to the Wattbike. Concept 2 rowing, a few bikes. Everyday watch, activity tracking and notifications. Just brilliant. Previous devices include Ambit 3, Apple Watch, Wxge 400, 725x
  18. Jack Russell's.....Not everyone is a fan but I think they awesome!!
  19. 700 again for me. If there aren't too many bottlenecks tomorrow at JUMA for the 54km that will be 600 done. Will tally up the other 100 as I swipe for my smoothie. Next week though, maybe 800, might require a different strategy. Haven't missed a week target once since inception. It's beginning to be fun now.
  20. Aaaaaaah. 2-Stroke. Too much of love.
  21. Yoh. Nice build that. [emoji106][emoji106]
  22. My wife has not been able to view her "Active Rewards" for 2 weeks now. From Android, iOS or their webpage. Get an "error 500" from the PC and just an "error" from mobile devices. My profile works 100% I can see via our "Team Progress" that her activities are being captured though. Called to log a call, was told by Disco that they are no longer taking calls for Vitailty Active issues and the only way to help is to log a call via mail. Did this a week ago, still not working this morning. So have no idea what her target is this week. Will have to guess based on the progress bar on my profile. Also will have to assume points are being allocated correctly. I'm only a few weeks away of leaving the program all together. Was fun for a while but it's become a hassle. Couldn't be bothered anymore.
