If they can’t get the front end to work with the aero on the rear will mean nothing. The rear is needed because it works with the Merc engine. But if they cannot get the flow from the front matched, will end up a very unbalanced and nervous car. But I’m hoping they get it right. I like McLaren.
Heartbreaking to see Ross Branch crying next to his bike after a small crash at the Dakar ended up in the chain wrapping itself around the frame and swing arm. Later reports that he got it sorted but has lost 45min. He was running so strong! But it’s not over yet!
But he’s still British? They play the anthem on the podium :-) Considering his achievements knighthood was inevitable don’t you think? I’m surprised it’s happened so early perhaps.
There was a Zwift Event that did the 500km in one shot. Had two mates back in SA who did it, one bailed at just under 300km and the other finished it. Bloody fools !!
This! AppleCare gives two full watch replacements each year. So any damage and get a new one in 48 hours. You not investing in a “timepeace” with a tech watch. It should hold no sentimental value either.
It’s a known issue on Pro’s assembled before August 2020. Considering my last replacements were in August I’ve probably still got bad “batch”. Will replace again once shops return to post Christmas craziness. The boys both have the normal AirPods bought at different times. But maybe just unlucky. Have had no other issues across dozens of other Apple kit.
Please make sure you have AppleCare active on them. Because if they anything like AirPods and AirPod Pro’s you will need it. My Pro’s have been replaced twice and now the third left showing same issue once again (cracking in NC or Transparency) and both my sons have had their AirPods replaced due to volume issues in one of the pods.. The Max look and feel better from what I’ve seen (Apple Store Dubai Mall) and are nice to touch and wear. Sound quality didn’t “blow me away” but they were good for sure. I’m a big Apple fanboy. But for now I’m staying away from anything they brand “AirPod”. Give us an update in 6 months, keen to see how they holding up. And keen to see how you find them traveling as they don’t fold much.
Looks nicer on my wrist in a suit or on ZOOM. (When compared to a Fenix with a bright blue strap) Ease of notifications AND quick response to them. Ease of timer for quick breaks and reminders All my shopping awards programs barcodes. Shopping lists. All my bank cards via Apple Pay. I can do full shops without wallet or even pulling phone out. Big advantage now with masks where phone doesn’t unlock easily. One quick swipe to a watch screen that has all the time zones for my colleagues across the globe. Weights next to nothing compared to Fenix so far more comfortable in the office on a PC. Music control automatically when playing from phone, CarPlay etc. Seamless playing of podcasts and audiobooks when having a walk etc. No phone required. Total integration with iPhone. It just works..
Owning both a Fenix 6 and Apple Watch 6 I would not try compare the two. As it’s like comparing a Road Bike to a Mountain Bike. While they both in practice do “the same thing” they take on the task from opposite angles. The Fenix is a sports watch that has smart functionality. The Apple Watch is a smart watch that has sports functionality. Monday to Friday I’m Apple Watch for work and social. But for sports, it’s Fenix all the way for anything more serious than a walk.
I’ve actually replaced the GoPro screw with a GoPro thumb screw now so it’s easy to remove. To be honest, as Patch noted, I just charge it on the bike. But the thumb screw is nice for angle adjustment and also to remove for daytime rides.
