  1. Lovely works of art the Super Record. Used an early 80's SR on my later model Battaglin as I didn't have a scratch-free C Record.
  2. This Cinelli is the most beautiful thing I have seen! Can you imagine owning this bike. I would let it sleep in my bedroom for sure!
  3. I have just received a Look KG 193 to build! Lucky me
  4. Unfortunately, didn't have the time to weigh the bike but its pretty light with those tubbies. Hope the owner allows me to have a ride sometime! Going to look very sexy with some NOS time pedals.
  5. Well seeing it's Bianchi week, here is the Patini replica I completed and delivered this afternoon:
  6. The flag is an actual braze-on which has then been painted. I am really loving this bike which will go into my to-keep collection. I may have found a C Record crank but apparently its very scratched. If so, will strip off anodising and highly sand, polish and then re-coat.
  7. I wish it was Mr Roche' old bike but it is a commemorative frame released from '88 onwards. The blue paint work looks like it was anodised. Yellow cable housing on its way from CT thanks to a kind hubber. Since pics it has a NOS set of Campagnolo Super Leggra pedals with Christophe toeclips and straps. Can't wait for maiden ride.
  8. Thanks, I will take a pair of those Gel 280 and GP 4 hoops! Hope they 36 hole
  9. It's pretty cool!
  10. 1987 sure was! I am busy with this restoration but still missing a C Record crank and RD. Looking for some yellow cable casings and will complete with yellow bar tape.
  11. Earlier models of both the Mexico and Super were not crimped (Gilco) and only a few Super models came out with crimped tubes. Looking at the colour scheme of your frame I would estimate the age at early 90's. I am no expert though so don't rely upon my information.
  12. Anyone know if the Velo will sync with Wahoo Fitness products like the Repeater?
  13. The restoration has begun. About to get these Record hubs laced to some NOS Nisi Toro's
  14. About to get these Record 32 hole large flange track hubs laced to some NOS Nisi Toro's!
  15. If only import duties were to such an issue on clothing! http://www.velosportimports.com/sommerville-shoes.html
  16. No it looks horrible, rather throw them away. I will send you my address and I will suitably dispose of then on your behalf.
  17. There is a lot of confusion about the Gilco crimping and even some Super's were crimped. Lovely bike and now begins the hunt for some Nouvo Record parts. I think I saw a pan to crank being advertised at big bucks!
  18. Lekker, thumbs up!
  19. This morning a parcel arrived at the door!
  20. What a great morning outing! We must make it a regular feature.
  21. Can't wait to see it on the road!
  22. Sorry, not sure but Giant or Raleigh possible answers. Try giving the LBS whose number is on the chain stay a call they may recall when they used these chain guards and narrow the bike down for you.
