Not really rim strips per se. They are not like the joes ones it is a hard plastic thing and a separate valve. it clips into the rim. I have pictures on my phone but cant find the cable right now.

surely mtbing involves lots of changes of speed and direction. I would assume that anything above, say, 60Km/h sustained for a period of time would be cause for concern. I know some of these units can be programmed to alert once it leaves a designated "Perimeter" as ir were. Unfortunately it may be of no use if the device is not concealed or bolted to something making it difficult to remove.

I have the same thing on shimano rotors and calipers - Brand new and did it from the word go. Doubt it is the wavy rotors.
