  1. He just lost the intermediate sprint! But in the race? Nah... he is AT the race
  2. I'm banking on a Pierre Latour win today.... Or Yates because I dropped him from my fantasy team. I think Demare is tickets. Paris is starting to look like a very lonely sprint for Sagan (provided he makes it!)
  3. It's nice to see Bauke Mollema not being absolutely rubbish. Between Yates, Zakarin and Fuglsang (throw Quintana in there but I never expected much) I don't know who I am more disappointed by.
  4. If you can figure this out, then the other teams have figured this out and I doubt they would 'allow' Bernal to pick up 90s. He will have to earn those 90s and that is going to be difficult. If all the teams were in as big a disaray as Katusha then maybe, but I'm sure Sunweb and Movistar have that in their minds
  5. Dunno... they rode through a protest area and some of the riders got 'something' in their eyes, which needs treating. There is no answer as yet, only speculation. I don't like to speculate so I'm going to say the crowd tried to kill everyone with a mixture of smelly cheese powder and cold meat jam....
  6. Trust bikehub to turn a rad sale into a spat about nothing.. hahaha They are selling stuff cheaper than usual. Consistency can eat a bag. They are doing YOU a favour already. I have no vested interest in this but come on..... We aren't the British
  7. Race stopped due to smelly french protesters.... viva le resistance!
  8. Endurance bike race... Endurance race that involves bikes is a little broad. So you're debuting it at the 2019 RASA Freedom Challenge?
  9. I hope you got angry and Hulk Smashed the bush into the ground so it doesn't happen to anyone else...... Some plants and bushes carry toxins, either their own or bird poop etc... If it gets into the blood or the tissue people react differently. Extremities are especially difficult as a fair amount of women have bad blood flow in their hands/feet, allowing the toxin to fester and infect instead of getting flushed. Some anti biotics and monitoring should sort it out. Hopefully it doesn't start smelling like almonds or start to change the hue of her skin.
  10. Just a small hill to spread the field BEFORE the 1st piece of single track
  11. I'm even more rubbish this year than usual... I am in threat of being beaten by the 30 or so guys who entered and didn't pick a team
  12. Disc... As guys are winning TDF stages on them, they are going to stay.
  13. Also, who is supplying these guys? I know there is a certain Mr Tom Hank's best friend in Castaway that openly claims to supply half of the Epic field with PED but nothing ever seems to happen to him. I seem to recall the same guy allegedly beat up his wife. If he so openly admits to supplying, why is he not being held legally accountable? Or is it not illegal to supply PEDs?
  14. I second the wired ones. The cateye one seems to be a bit more weather proof than the giant one I had.
  15. Each day is a bike race. A career win is a career win. Going the distance to Paris means Green, but each day is it's own race. The 3 week race is the end goal, but some of the teams or individuals go just to compete for a single stage win. A win is a win. It makes it way sweeter for those who make it to Paris to compete. If that means it's a bunch of Classic specialists banging out the sprint then that's rad too
  16. I'm only a little bit savage so I might have to start a team of other semi savage people and race you guys.. we shall be called Team Part Savage... For those who eat their steaks bleu but still use their napkin
  17. Yass.... pretty glad all the naysayers predicting a snoozefest were wrong... My prediction of Warren Barguil is looking promising but GO SERGE!
  18. I would guess it is celebrated because of Franschhoek.... Puffer in 4 weeks time, then a few bike races and some altitude training in the Underberg. Once September hits that 8 week countdown means injuries get in the way of Reunion so it will be staying fit, healthy and trying to get my Packrafting skills honed. If I'm in 1 piece after World Champs I will start fishing for a UTCT 100km entry, but a rest wouldn't go amiss! And you? 100 Miler in September?
  19. With a fairly lengthy descent to the finish, Elbows might have something up his proverbial sleeve...
  20. Now days guys are riding bigger tires at 6 bar so the pressure loss will be less drastic won't it? It is difficult to compare things even from as little as 2 years ago as the bike industry has shifted massively in terms of wheels/rims/tires and pressures. I only used Latex tubes in my CX bike when I used to 'race it' race it in NZ and the UK. Nothing else was worth having.
