  2. That was an option...but not anymore. My wife did some research and don't want to be injected with I don't know whatever... So we are hoping & trying to do it the most natural way we can. Ag, I don't know anymore.... Glad for you though
  3. Also struggling here... went to do sperm count. That was overall low (but still high enough to get pregnant + some morphed sperm), but not infertile. . Was told to quit smoking & ease back on the dop. So I lost 13kg's, don't smoke anymore & fitness is lekker. I am now on herbal "Fertiboost" homeopathic pills for about 7months now, was told to we might see some results after 8months. I also thought it might be cycling related, but I am not doing that much time in the saddle. We keep trying, nothing yet - but I must say my wife and I had rough year, stress wise. All the friends are having kids (adding more stress I guess?) so we are at an all time low (adding more stress). Everyone around us say "Just give it time", "It will come when you least expect it", "Will happen when you are less stressed" but, that is easy to say when you are standing on the other side + I am sick of those comments. Been trying for 2 years now Hopefully one day....

  5. If you got someone who can bring it in from the US, opt for that option first. Got the rest of my bits & bobs directly from GoPro US (shipped to family & they bought it over to SA), local prices are way to steep. They could sell more at a better price... Awesome camera!

Review: 2011 Urge Endur-O-Matic Helmet By Olly Forster in Reviews,Urge Modern trail bikes are lightweight, agile and capable of tackling any terrain with the freedom to ride like a lunatic and explore to your hearts content. With this new style of riding comes new risks to the rider and taking a full face helmet and excessive armor isn’t going to work. For me, regular XC helmets look too much like road helmets and I cant abide that, I’m a mountain biker and the last thing I want to do is look like a ‘roadie’. Skate helmets are an obvious choice perhaps, but they lack some of the design features that the right helmet might have. The Urge represents a combination of styles, taking elements of both the traditional bicycle helmet and the skate helmet to produce something that not only looks unique, but serves the purpose of it’s intended use through the well thought out features incorporated within it. Trail bikes can give you a feeling of invincibility with the weight to travel ratio they offer. I was on the fence to begin with and not quite sure where my stance was with regards to the looks of the Endur-O-Matic, but the more I look at it, the more I love it and the more I’ve enjoyed wearing it. The second thing I noticed was the lack of retention system, a common feature amongst traditional bike helmets and something I’m sure most of us are used to. The lack of any retention system was an initial concern that faded away after a few hours in the saddle. Once on your head and thrashing out a bumpy descent, the Endur-O-Matic didn’t move or even alert me to the fact I was wearing a new helmet. This thing is comfy! The Endur-O-Matic was designed to have a low profile with a narrow volume and not look crap on your head like some helmets we won’t mention. This was the first helmet I’ve had besides the Pro-Tec Bucky Lasek that has had such a good profile. I should point out that the Bucky Lasek has no EPS, just foam, another reason why the Endur-O-Matic rocks as it meets all the safety standards and then some, unlike the foam Pro-Tec.

  10. I hear you. Just think I will stand out in the crowd doing a 40-60km XC race at this stage. That is why I want to upgrade my current XC helmet for more protection.
  11. Cool. TCRCARBON, I think a full face helmet is a bit overkill for me, I don't think it warrants my type of riding.

  15. OK. In how much "poepe" do you think I am with regards to training for Berg and Bush, with only 10 weeks left? My current status is as follows: Last long ride was 66km in Cullinan @ around 4hrs 20 minutes (Nissan Trailseeker) After that I only got in two short rides, 25km & one 8km ride - main reason it's too cold in the mornings and I don't ride in the dark. (I only get home @ 6pm). I find it very difficult to get myself to train in the winter months. I try to get most of my cycling in on weekends, Saturdays & Sundays @ Groenkloof and in the suburb near home. On these rides I manage to get about 30km in at Groenies and about 18-23km in the suburb (mostly flat), so that is only 55km on weekends and sometimes around 36km during the week. I would say that I am fairly fit, and do not struggle with these distances, but on the longer rides (mostly mtb races, at around 55km) my back starts to hurt and the punishment begins. Climbing tends to be a b**ch for me so I take it slow and steady on them. With only 10weeks left and the weather not being too forgiving at the moment, I hope to get some training in so that I don't kuk at Berg and Bush. HOW BAD AM I GOING TO SUFFER AT BERG AND BUSH? (any comments? suggestions?)
