  1. Is this your version of bankrupt
  2. Switching from the 22mm Rovals to the 26mm cSixx's was unfortunately a gain I'll start with pedals, 160mm SRAM Centrline on the front and a carbon saddle when I find one I like.
  3. *Updated post "Show your bike some love and win" You asked and I will show. My Pyga has had a rough life (she thinks so as all kids do). Having been raised as one of many many children, she often had to compete with the beauty of her Colnago sisters, the prestige of her US postal Trek of a brother and the waif thin 7.4kg Open hardtail that was the apple of her father's eye. Living amongst these beauties was not easy and one day the Stage decided that standard colours just wouldn't do so she went out and got herself a radiant paint job. Glitter infused purple gloss paint that would be at home on the nails of a seapoint hooker and bright orange decals to match. Now her siblings had something to envy and with her new looks in hand she decided to leave her family in the Cape and find a new home (in my garage). Paint isn't everything though, you have to be clean too. I've taken the time to strip her down, clean and polish every square mm, grease the pivots and weigh every component in preparation for putting her back together. Time for some of that love you asked for... Now for some details: Frame Pyga Stage Max Fork Fox Factory Stepcast 32 Seatpost Enve Carbon Headset Cane Creek Stem Rapide 31.8 70mm Handlebars Enve Carbon SWP 740mm Grips ESI Saddle Rapide T:F Wheels cSixx XCM Series 9 Hope Pro 4 BB SRAM DUB Shifter SRAM XX1 Brakes Trickstuff Picollo Crankset SRAM XX1 RearDereilleur SRAM XX1 Casette SRAM XX1 Chain SRAM XX1 Pedals Shimano XTR Bottle Cages Specialized Front Axle Fox Rear Axle Maxle Shock Rockshox Monarch RT3 Rotors SRAM Centrline Total weight including pedals, cages and Samurai swords: 11.21kg

  5. My bike took me to pieces, and Kenzie brought out the hammer.
  6. Next photo should align your TT with the top of the mountain.
  7. Here you go good sir
  8. Thanks Shaun, this all sounds great and you have taken a big task here. Looking forward to riding Modders again.
  9. But the tree doesn't match...
  10. I always considered hitting it as a way to regain symmetry in my collarbones after breaking the left one last year. I need another scar and titanium to balance me out now. Damn OCD...
  11. Looking forward to this, proper trail management for the first time in about 5 years. (soil erosion is not trail management)
  12. I was, then I realised I'll always find a way to spend money on things I don't need for no reason while making someone else wealthier. Decided to sell my trail bike, hard tail and forego the gravel bike and instead buy a Pyga Stage that does it all well and only weights in at 11KGs. I might still get one some day, but only because I'm stupid
  13. If this is an intended close to improve things then that will be great. As much as two the core tries to make everything someone else's fault. They took our fees for years and never really justified it with the poor maintenance and general lack of actual trail management/design expertise. I did try to post something to the reserve but have had no answer, development is still a risk until they re-confirm that the reserve will be maintained. I do know from the original announcement 7 years ago when heartland sold the reserve that the current reserve is bigger than the intended reserve. They might be closing to resize it to its final state to accommodate the final development plans. Some public communications would be great.
  14. The weight on this is due to the steel fork. My C40 with a Star Carbon fork is currently sitting at 7,13kg with pedals and cages.
  15. Took my new lady for a ride, thanks Wayne 11 PRs in one go, must be the bike... or Barney as my kids are calling her.
  16. I've got a VPN but they now geo lock you based on the card used for payment. I made the mistake last year of having a friend in France pay and got to enjoy nothing but French commentary for a year
  17. Is DSTV doing anything other than highlights? I don't have my eurosport account atm.
  18. Just built this up for a friend, NOS Record 10 speed and Campagnolo all the way.
  19. Note to self, if it looks like a road on Garmin route plotter, it might not be a road. Tried to mix up our usual Rietvlei to Henley ride and got horribly lost along, was fun though.
  20. Try these: Rietvlei - Henley loop 85km: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_Xng6xf0J5qDqpNS1K0hEvw1W6Dcq9UU Rand water to Vaal: https://drive.google.com/open?id=10KKoMuK0zChoahj1BNcR1i0C6oMsI2AK
  21. Every other trail park I go to that charges every rider R50 to ride the trails does a better job of maintenance. This is nothing but bad management or greedy management.
  22. Rand water around Henley on Klip and back, my new "road" riding fix.
  23. Been too quiet here...
  24. I see you upgraded your shock, how do you find the new one compared to the old Monarch R?
  25. Only $99,999.00
