Best you clarify that an easy ride for you is an avg of 35km/h. Then race at 40+km/h and then you'll still be in the race zone so the ride home with be at 39km/h.

I got 92(odd) last year with 1254m of climbing.

I'd go for the Scott. Silverback's are hard bikes to (re)sell Besides 105 works. Also guess that the Scott will be lighter.

I agree with you but sometimes time is an issue. Now I know that when I pick my bike up from them I just do an inspection and they fix what needs to be fixed. Then after the 1st ride I go back so that they can fix again. Luckily they aren't too far. Suppose the reality is the challenge to find good staff and then pay them peanuts.

They used to be really good but since they moved (next door) and made their workshop bigger their quality has deteriorated. I've also had to take my bike back to them to fix what they created. They fix it without any questions but it's just a schlep going back. Personally I still haven't found a GREAT bike shop.

For some guys riding in D is like riding in the Elites or Vets. Everybody has their own goals and ambitions. IMO this race is a good indicator for the 94.7 You did a 3:15 so you'll probably do a 3 or 2:05 94.7. Obviously this will depend on a few things (weather, bunch, etc). Well done !!!

I find that it's mostly the Ferrari fans that are upset that Vettle is cleaning up (every year). But you are right, it's all about the bike car
