My 1st suggestion would be for you to take those Compaq gears/groupset off your bike and sell them to me for R1000.00. 2nd suggestion would be for you to install Sh!tmano, especially if you like fishing.

Why don't you ask the sponsor for a 29er ? Then she can just keep it for next year as she's going to have the same challenge. Maybe the MTB distributors don't feel that it's worth it, maybe they've used up all their allocated budget. Sometimes you have to invest $$$ even if you a pro.

A few of us hubbers have bought from www.cycling-jersey.net. It wasn't custom kit though. We all got the kit we ordered and if I remember correct we were all happy. Personally I've done about 1000km with that kit and have no complaints.

This must be a MTBer problem ? I've never had a problem with smelly kit after a normal wash with softner nog al.

Just get a tracking number and track it from there. Who shipped the goods ? Once I gave the wrong P.O.Box details and I still got my parcel using the tracking number.

R40k sounds very WRONG !!! R12k sound about right. (that's for the transfer) R5k will also be needed if the same attorneys are registering the bond for you. Ask for a discount as well, most attorneys will give you a discount.

Google Earth seems to indicate that the route will be even FLATTER? 190m ascent vs 350? This actually worries me !!!!
