  3. jong ek skrik nie meer vir bulte nie,ek kan hulle ry, ma soos davetapson se..dis nou presies wat gebeur het...ek het mos nou gan oplees oor die glikogeenstore and all the rest wat uitgeput raak....ek het geen lae gi/hoe gi of enige iets gevat daai dag voor gedurende of na die tyd nie..sal nie weer daai fout maak nie..wou ook mar net sien of die energy stuff 'n "all in die mind" ding is...toe nou nie! ek dink ek het my les geleer...ek sal volgende jaar terug gaan en daai 60km gaan wys wie is baas! dankie almal!

  7. with the staalwater 60km i did not do my pasta the previous evening, as i always do and also did not take any energy stuff with..i usually eat the 32gi chews, and found that it does give you that little bit extra energy to get up that hill and finish. at about the 57th km my leg muscles just gave up! i just could not pedal anymore..as if my muscles' memory had a memory lapse! why is that?? no strength/power/energy anything of the sort..ffs
  8. 1. is it possible for muscles to break down to a point where it doesnt function the way it should/optimally? en as dit die case is, wat doen 'n mens? 2. anybody here that can vouch for l-glutamin, that actually drank it for a period of time say 3 months and can say that they feel a difference, meaning their muscle recover quicker, they can cycle for longer, muscles doesnt ache so much after a long ride etc...

    sal da wees vir my 2de ene, ma gan kyk of ek erens 'n roadbike in die hande kan kry, gannie wee die ding op 'n mtb ry nie!

  20. thanks jong..hell the entry fee is R30, so 2 jaar terug kon die psfa +-32 kinders feed, nou net 16! ek dink dit is letterlik net 2 snye brood dans da nog niks op nie..R10 per brood, 3 brode, 60 snye/16 = 3,75 snye per kind as ek nou reg gecalculate het met 20 snye per brood uuuuhm jaaaa..wel so effens ja... but going to run anycase..

  24. i also adjusted saddle height and changed stem(lower back and neck problems) and now find that my legs are working harder.. i try and ride irene + helderberg colledge rd + silverboomkloof 2 to 3 times a week.. those living in ssw, will know
