    Wanted to buy a bike from a lady up in JHB. She listed it for R70k, and I was going to make an offer for R64k. Contacted her, and she said ahe sold the bike to BM for like R42k. Immediately contacted them and said they already picked up the bike and will be listed the next day. Bike was listed for R75k. They made a +R30k profit of her. BM (also a familiar second hand bike reseller).

    Hi Hubbers, My Elite Direto X smart trainer power meter stopped working. Tried everything. Firmware up to date etc. Is there somebody in Cape Town who can possibly fic this? Looks like the SA distributor is no more? Thanks in advance!

    I managed a 02:48 on my gravel bike this weekend (TREK Checkpoint). Running 40c Maxxis Rambler tyres. I did built it up with 2x Force Compact crank if I ever wanted to use it for specific road races with road tyres. But I love these wider tyres, and the super comfortable ride it offers on the road. Lots of grip, durability and disc brakes - a win win.

    My favourite baggies to date: Westpeak. They are fitted (as I'm a shorter rider) and colour still perfect after a year's usage - compared to my ION baggies. Local guys, and very affordable. Only downside for the OP, you need to use a bib underneath. Suits me perfect as I use my older/faded/favourite bibs with this baggie.

    Would be awesome if this venue can move to the Northern Suburbs. Central for most of the guys, Cape Town, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Paarl etc. My 2c.
