  1. It will make it's way back to civilization in a few days surviving on nothing but road kill and it's own urine.
  2. Might join you for the Diamond Dash if I don't do the Cradle. Groenies and Kings? What are those?
  3. …or BMX event. Geez, the parents there know a thing or two about laying the pressure on their kids.
  4. I've found your ultimate XCO course http://www.naperville.il.us/emplibrary/Track%20Aerial.jpg
  5. So you're saying XCO should be a road race? You know, they already have those… on roads?
  6. A lot of people here say they don't use their GoPros anymore so… if you're looking to offload them, put them up here for a sweet price. You can get two new sets of tyres for the piece of equipment lying in your cupboard rapidly getting multiple generations older. Just saying.
  7. Fair comment. Unfortunately, most of the people on here that would like sections of trail built to cater to their riding style don't seem to own spades. It's worth noting that everything the rats and fairies build is constructed as a detour from the main trail and even then, considerations are given for riders that want to go around some of the features. Nobody wants to see a rider hurt but it would also be tragic if we descended into a nanny mentality where we have to cater for people that feel other people should be responsible when their own decisions go awry.
  8. In summary, if you would like to mark the trails according to difficulty, don't let anyone stop you.
  9. I don't think it's a matter of them being 'easy' since the word is so subjective. Different riders see different things as challenges, whether it be a gap jump, a steep hill or a rock garden. The main point is that they're optional. They're off the line and they're there for riders that want to enjoy them or try them.
  10. If I'd had a GoPro for every crash me or my mates ever had I'd be making a living off YouTube.
  11. Or, ask a mate who has a premium DStv account if you can use his login details on SuperSport.com (he probably doesn't even have it set up so you may need to just set up an online account linked to his smart card number). You can then access the live stream and watch anything that's on Supersport on your laptop, streamed to your TV or directly on your iPad using the app. Cycling, rugby, cricket… the resolution isn't that great but it's passable, especially if you're watching on your phone or iPad (plus you can watch while you're standing in the queue at Woolies
  12. Cool, I'll get these put up during the week http://i.imgur.com/FnlfyEy.png
  13. Do you remember the brand name?
  14. Also, they need to bike related and contain no nudity. Maybe try submitting a different picture.
  15. The absolute best thing you could do is PM Peach. He can do a one-on-one skills clinic with you. You'll be amazed at how much you can learn in a short hour with that guy.
  16. What? Why?
  17. As soon as I hit 'enter' it tries to take me to Facebook and get me to approve the Sweepstakes app.
  18. You should totally submit that to Photo of The Day
  19. I just used the Lord's name in vain.
  20. Just rebrand it as Warrior Bicycle Racing
  21. Bit of a subjective title, I know, but watching the XCO and having seen the courses at Cascades and even Thaba, XCO riders, to me, epitomize the sport of mountain biking. Super fit, gutsy and brilliant over the technical stuff. It's a great format to watch, probably the only mountain biking along with DH that I enjoy being a spectator at. If we had more events here in JHB I'd be tempted to buy an XC bike. Why isn't this discipline more popular in SA, especially given that it's an Olympic discipline?
  22. And throwing eggs into the crowd
  23. Do you think we'll get to see Peach playing Easter rabbit on the streamed footage tomorrow?
