Not sure how I feel about the Sub7/Sub8, as an exhibit event that show case the technology advances, sure it has a place. As a race format going forward, not for me.

Was the whole Kristian train outfitted with Cadex bikes? That should be some serious $ just there for a showcase.

Orbea Merida Canyon In that order. If money was no object, the Orbea hands down. That clear carbon blue with gold, very nice!!! Merida I feel is underated and actually good value for money. Their must be a reason why it is not available in US to compete directly with Epic. Canyon their is an update coming. The Canyon Cllctv team is riding it. Lucky you!! Cant go wrong with any of the three. Enjoy and many happy miles.

You`ll have to take hack it. Garmin does not replace batteries. Experienced the same, watch was sent in, received a quote for a new unit, that only carries a 6 months warranty and now no longer charge.

Chris the long term weather projection is a bit colder day temperatures for that week but not below freezing in the early mornings. Hopefully the prior weeks weather is on the cards for the cyclist. It normally quickly heats up, if you can look after your feet, hands and ears minimal warm clothing is needed. Many rides in undervest, arm warmers, cycle top and gilet. Some of the farmers has invested in frost fans that work of PV`s, impressive when they start up, personally I take cover behind a vehicle. Even seen a helicopter flight or two to prevent black frost. Just some of the many reasons I am fond of the region!

First day of frost! Lekker chilly this morning, were -2 on my jog slog this morning. After nine, the sun is out and the temperature rises very quickly to around 23.

Back in the day bump will also suffice.

To be honest, I did check over the weekend, even checked out Lance`s daughters.

ChrisF not riding. Just yesterday lend my bike to a friend to ride. The wife`s bike is still there😬 Not been my best cycling year to date, took on a bit to much work, renovating an old house and the children got up-to some mischief that left the little one with a broken leg. If that is all I have to complain, life is good to us. If all works out, will come through for one of the days to support! Hubber`s please support our local region event! It is not technical, but long days in the saddle. The meals supplied by tannie Keppie Spangenberg is legendary. This place is magical, the landscape, the desert, quiver trees and our lifeline the mighty Orange River, I call this place home, will be my last resting place.

Sending out some love to all bicycle riders. No better life journey, than spending your time on your bicycle out in nature.

As always the Pinkbike comments is taking over. The wheels are not the lightest. BikeAhead rim with Dynamee spokes and some exotic hubs below 1000, the Roval is in the region of 1247.

Would not call that pretty. Strange it is being promoted as Cadex, even on the tri-suit the sponsor is listed as Cadex and not Giant. Looked at the pictures, the bike build and setup is not very neat, duct tape attached.

Jealous!! That is beyond beautiful, enjoy, many happy miles.
