  1. Hi the Ghost, I am no doctor but have been through something similar with my wife, if your neck is in spasms, you should be careful as this can create serious problems. the headaches can be caused by this. My wife had similar issues with headaches which were caused by her neck, she never realised it was her neck because her head hurt so much. She ended up having a small stroke and had many procedures done to help correct this. Many years later and she doesn't suffer any more. I would see a neurologist and seek a biokineticist to train your weak points. Stronger muscles assist weaker body parts and if you are doing mtbike rides, the jolts may just be the main cause with weak muscles in the affected parts.
  2. Ahh got it, fully agree.
  3. My RST weighs 1520grams and your analogy is off unless you talking performance. Toyota's are far more reliable than BMW.
  4. Depends on how much money your complex has and is willing to spend. Best thing is Palisade electric fencing. Big thing is though, anything can be bypassed by someone who wants in. Security in any format is only ever a deterrent. My complex got robbed the other day but the owner of the unit was stupid and left his garage open when he was out. You still have to look at each property on its own safety merits and then the complex as a whole.
  5. NO. Dogs are tough, I have seen a boerboel that was shot 3 times with a 9mm and was still walking around at the vet. He apparently chomped the robber good and proper. My boerboel got beaten by 3 robbers with bats and carried on at them. and no pepper spray does not work on DOGS.
  6. Ok so got the race calendar, now where do you see the confirmation of distances for the races? Sorry, prices as well.
  7. Its is just called a slow feeding bowl, made by quite a few manufacturers such as Rogz. Very worthwhile if your dogs eats very fast as it helps stop bloat.

I know there are a few on here, To all those Biff Haters out there. Stats don't lie. Please proceed to the exit with foot still in mouth. Graeme Smith (8630*) surpasses Matthew Hayden' 8625 runs as opener in Tests, only Gavaskar (9607) has more runs as opener in test history. Also been pipped as the best captain of all time recently.
  11. I upgraded from the 540's to the Look's, I couldn't be happier. They are fantastic pedals and just feel solid once clipped in. Agree with Rouxtjie that an upgrade to the XT's is just cosmetic.
  12. Thanks guys, Think I will go with the On One. Will try get it in December. It will just need a nice spray job.
  13. A bit nervous to have a fork from them, followed the frames and they all seem solid but just cant put my face's future in their hands.
  14. I cant seem to find it for pricing anywhere, seen the reviews and they are impressed with it. Never saw the tapered steerer, I need a straight. thanks for the links I will check that out. I quite like the On Ones. how have you enjoyed yours so far?
  15. Im doing this as a big weight saving, Would like a sub 700gram fork so that rules out all the steel forks as far as I know.
  16. Hi All, I am seriously contemplating getting a carbon rigid fork for my 26" hardtail. I have been looking around and have seen forks such as the DT Swiss, Ritchey, XCR Pro, On One, ect. My thing is these forks are in the region of R 5k and up. Is there any other options that are good that aren't so damn expensive. I like the look of the On One http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FOOOTCF4709/on_one_monocoque_tapered_carbon_fork, but it isn't the right axle to crown length. I would think something around 445 would be similar to my current setup. Any suggestions would be helpful.
  17. I would sit on a stationary bike for 20min 2 or 3 times at the lightest setting just to get your joints and muscles turning.

I wish I could get the same opportunity, my boss laughs at me when I put in a leave request. Take the opportunity and make it work. There is no reason why you cant do both and be successful at it. One thing to remember is that for every inch you move forward in your dreams as well as your work you will have to thank you boss.
  19. This just happened to me, I check my account today and only saw now I had been charged for something that I had "signed up for". Vodacom told me nicely to get stuffed so I threatened their legal department. 10min later I had confirmation that they will reverse the funds and cancel it. These bastards don't even lube you up before they try screw you.
  20. Specialized Propero
  21. Not a triathlete but what I would think is to first find out where you are losing the most time, Run/Swim or bike. Work on that discipline first to try cut as much time as possible. 15% decrease in time will take a fair bit of effort as well.
  22. or maybe that will be the minimum width.
  23. Bought a set of Tufo Tubbies for my MTB. 2.5kg's with tyres. Testing them this weekend, cant wait.
  24. I seriously want one of these GBP 490.00 plus shipping.
  25. I agree on a lot of aspects as you, but cheap supplements in general (not all) are just cheap ingredients. Its like comparing chuck to fillet. Supplements have their place and I will take quality over value any day when it affects my body. Cheaper products generally taste worse as well and yes I have tried most products out there.
