  2. The shock stuff is cool, and looks very interesting. But I had a close look at the suspension config, any Pyga in there?? Can't wait to read more!

  4. # thatdontrhyme... Such an awesome day and sight, all those people cleaning up and making pretty. If only we could keep it that way.
  5. Ok, 2 more to push pedals to... Pepper by the Butthole Surfers (great to wake up those legs) http://youtu.be/FROlM3Ft5qQ] Dry The Rain by the Beta Band (just turn those legs over for 6 minutes) this is not their video, I just like fishing... http://youtu.be/gakLMzWsl38
  6. There is lots of potential for some cracking down hilly bits, that switchback section on the red route, after you come out the house, could do with hard packer berms and a roller or two...
  7. Ah, that's champ. Are you sure you don't need it anymore? And don't go to any trouble, I will get my courier company to collect.
  8. Selflessly Bumping This... I went to 3 shops on Sat, and couldn't find one, they all said that I was going to battle. Although I didn't manage to get to the Aladdins Cave of shops, pretty sure if we searched hard enough, Linden Cycles has some in the bottom of one of their many draws... will give them a call. Sheriff, you didn't by chance find one in your move?? But if any Hubber has one they don't use anymore, it would be appreciated. It just saves ordering on-line and waiting 3 weeks to set sag on my "new" old Morewood.
  9. I am looking to see if anyone has a Marzocchi shock pump adapter that they have in the bottom of tool box and don't need anymore? like such...
  10. It used to be, but then they put 110 inverted shock on it...
  11. She is a rule V'er, and a circus clown...
  12. Holy Cr@p, sorry to hear it. Hope you feel better soon. Going on this dash/helmet cam thing again. Another good example of wearing one.
  13. The dropper will be installed this week, you gravity nazi!
  14. They are just the right distance away from me... Too far to pop in for a chat and then buy crap I don't need. Close enough to know they are just down the road.
  15. My new ride... And no you sick evil people... That's my daughter.
  16. Now that's how you BUILD a bike... The rest is just assembling.
  17. I added a new member to my house hold. She is a little older, but still full of fun... Now to upgrade a few little things.
  18. Ok, some useless info, or for me, really interesting stuff... Untreated wool, Marino, Angora or most other types, have an oil called lanolin, this oil keeps the wool water proof'ish. So the jerseys the Irish and Scottish fisherman wore, were spun out of that, the same as old tweed jackets, and the thicker and tighter the weave, the more waterproof and warm the garment. So fishermen would get thick ones knitted, golfers and hunters thinner with tighter weaves. They would also wear woolen under shirts, the fishermen had what might be considered a skin tight base layer. The golfers and hunters wore woolen shirts, the tie came from the fact that they wanted a drink after the round or hunt, and the club insisted on jacket and tie. So the jacket evolved to what we now know and the scarf became a tie. If you were wondering...
  19. Marino and angora have Intresting properties, they can maintain a high heat ratio, even when wet. However, if you are not covering it with a good quality shell, there will still be a high wind chill.
  20. The trick is to lift the moister of your skin. Polypropylene is the best for this.
  21. Being towed around don't count.
  22. They say you should never wear your cycling cleats while driving an Alfa, its not the driving that the problem, it's the stepping in the oil pool that appears below one when immediately after it stops, that is.
