  3. Halo Farly, had the same conversation with someone looking to start riding earlier today. In youre price bracket I would suggest looking at second hand bikes. I would say look at 26ers,you can get some good bikes with good components for little money in this catagory. If you want to go for a 29ers you can also get a few good deals on nice bikes for youre money. A 26er will give you better handling in tight turns and a 29er will roll better on long open flats. Good luck with the bike hunting.
  4. Not new,but makes me happy: Finally got a set of sanchions for my air fork(second hand) And a frame for my upcoming single speed build.

  9. Hey Wyatt, damaged fork is a Fox F 32 RL,currently using an 2nd hand 27.5" oil fork.will have to save up and then probably get a 2nd hand Fox or Rockshock.
  10. Luckely my LBS stil stock lots of tyres, but went to get a price for replacing my damaged 26" fork and was told that there was none available and the importers would not be bringing in 26" forks anymore. So IMO dual-sus would be ideal,29" if possible.

  15. Funny enough I had a new entry level bike with Tekro brakes and they stopped dead without a sqeek.after that got a second hand bike with XT brakes and they screamed like pigs, sorted that out with a new pads,no problems whatsoever anymore.
