I really hope you watched Banshee season 2. Only because the 3rd season is absolutely out of control. It trumps the first 2 seasons by a mile. So much gritty, nail biting mayhem its bloody exhausting. The story is really getting into the thick of it now with many side plots merging. I'm only halfway through the 3rd season and I couldn't help but binge and miss out on some sleep because of it. I even opted to keep watching it instead of catching up on Vinyl. I was click baited when checking air dates too. I ruined it for myself with even more spoilers, screenshots, tweets from shooting locations, etc. Its best to check air dates through websites which keep track of all the shows instead of googling air dates for specific shows. There are always unwanted spoilers that popup you can't resist checking out. I'm waiting patiently for Mr Robot too. No air date for second season yet.

Its all relative though. Scaling I mean. Lighter means lower pressures. Smaller also means less power

At the moment I'm running bronson upfront and wolverine outback on my trail bike. Before I put the bronson on I was running a minion dhf upfront. I made the switch on the trail bike so I could save the Minion and High roller combo for the DH bike. Both 26. The only front tyres worth mentioning that I can claim any basis for comparison for are the minion, high roller, ardent and bronson. Without a doubt the minion is the best front tyre. The bronson isn't bad. It grips. To say that it suffers from any less grip compared to the minion is a bit of an unfair statement. I had to play around with pressures before settling around 18 psi. BUT it simply doesn't compare to the ride I became accustomed to on the minion. I realized something after the switch. Something which in my mind was another way of looking back at the infamous dead zone everyone talks about on the minion. Something I too picked up on back then (or did I?) I also claimed that the dead zone might present itself certain situations. It feels like it might give but it won't and that you have to learn to trust it. But then I realized something. The feedback the minion gives rolling over terrain is quite specific. Because of the knobs design profile. It feels more 'pronounced' than any other tyre when going in a straight line. Because of this you become accustomed to riding (or feeling) a tyre where the frfrfrfrfrfrfrf you feel when going straight is a little more amplified. You don't realize it till you lean that sucker hard and all that frfrfrfrfrfrfrf feels less and less before the side knobs grab. Is there a dead zone? I don't know, possibly. But i think its more to do with the way it feels when the tyres are upright that leads you to believe this. The minion grips through corners and cambers like a mf. But the best part for me is the feedback. The way it feels when its on and rolling at speeds it was designed for. Now that I have the bronson on, which I suppose I'm happy with. I feel like I have a much quieter tyre if that makes sense. It works. It just doesn't give me the feedback I loved about the minion. I don't know. Maybe its all in my head. Just my 2c.

I'm loving Vinyl more than anything else right now. Better Call Saul comes a close second.

Like those old school skrik maak horror flicks in a series form. Enough macabre violence to make your skin crawl without being distastefully gory or disgusting. The story line and character development is pretty one dimensional, easy to follow and maybe even a little predictive but it gives nothing away. It keeps you guessing despite leaving almost no room for unexpected twists. Its great fun to watch though. The nail biting moments are juvenile enough to make you snuggle up and hold on to your significant other. The eerie soundtrack really deserves a mention. Spine chilling and used appropriately times, more to explore the psychological side of character presentation rather than predicatively laying it on thick when the murderer makes an appearance. Watch this one with a good sound system and the lights off. I predict that its appeal will be lost towards the end of the season. The fun seems to get watered down as you become desensitized by the killers on screen appearances. But for now I recommend it for some late night viewing.

I'll have to decide on the eleventh hour. If I rock up. You'll have to battle me for last place.

I loved the first season of Banshee. The 2nd season seems to take the sting out of the plot though. If you can bare sitting through some of the occasional filler content and semi decent side stories they use to make up the 40 minutes in an episode. Its worth watching though. They explore the darker side of some of the other characters and some of what happens really blurs the lines between good and bad, friend and foe. Mmh, I just realized I wanna start season 3 now.
