  1. Has anyone paid yet? Cant find the option to pay anywhere
  2. Warmer water
  3. I've had the RS800CX now for just over a year. My thoughts: Its a great unit and its very easy to use and set up multiple bikes and shoes. I have it set up on my road bike, mtb, road running shoes and trail running shoes. The footpod is great and I find it very accurate. I have measured it with the car and its 99% the same. Another thing that no one mentioned here is that you can upload your workouts onto polarpersonaltrainer and earn Discovery Vitality points. I'm a +- 8 - 10 hour a week guy and I clocked just over 11000 points. Got us our gold status which is pretty cool. You cant do that with Garmin or Suunto. Great unit, buy one, you wont regret it.

I know guys have raved about it before, but I wanted my own Went out there with some mates yesterday and did the black route. WOW!!! That was the best, most demanding riding I have done in CT. Its relentless, you either k@king off up a monster climb, or white knuckling down some ferocious single track which is superbly maintained. Our 30km ride might sound easy but we had 860m ascent. Also the zaam at the end was great, such friendly service and I even got to practice my Afrikaans a bit
  5. Nothing in CT?
  6. I was in this position at the beginning of the year with IM70.3 At the time I had an entry level road bike and was thinking seriously of buying a TT bike. However, based on the fact that I would only do a max of 5 triathlons a year, a dedicated TT bike just wasn't the way forward for me. I thought long and hard and eventually settled on the felt AR4. Its an aero road bike which is 100% convertible to a TT bike. I bought the clip ons and a tri saddle. I think the ar4 is the best dual purpose road bike in this regard. The design is identical to the TT bikes besides some geometry on the rear triangle. The best part though is that its one seriously kick ass bike to use as a road bike which is what I use it as for 90% of the time. So ja, if you have a spare 30k for a TT bike that you dont mind riding 5 times a year get a TT bike, else get a aero road bike like a feltAR, Cervelo S, Scott Foil or the Spez Venge. I would stick to the Felt or the Cervelo personally.
  7. Yip, cant deny it. Zula is only a year old, gonna have to wait a lil longer
  8. happy wife, happy life
  9. Chubba u love arguing That sukuma sounds lekker. May need one of those soon. Wonder how much they gonna go for?
  10. Well priced. Wouldn't touch it.
  11. Thats revolting. Respect to anyone who buys one, but if you have XTR on your bike there is no need for that. Rather take the cash and buy a real watch like a Festina, Tissot or Tag.
  12. I have the same bike. Such a lekker ride. Enjoy it dude!
  13. We did kloof nek, signal hill, and tafelberg road up to the cable car station. Total ascent 540m and distance 24km..............Decent mornings ride.
  14. wow this is going to be one sweet ride!
  15. That initial bit up boyes drive from that direction is virtually vertical!
  16. From my experience. -Redhill road in simonston is an absolute biatch of note -The mast at tokai is very very very steep -Kloof nek is also pretty darn steep -Noordhoek peak is a monster -Suikerbossie is also tough but of late I seem to be getting better at it -Chappies is pretty staunch but all depends on the speed you wanna go through it Thats about it from my side, good mix for a hill training sessions there.
  17. No, camel toes are generally pleasant and nice to look at
  18. When exactly did you escape from the room with the padded white walls?
  19. You are one unique cookie my friend.
  20. Seems like DH riders have a similar arrogance to the beloved roadie.
  21. Whats with the anti XC vibes? I went to Tokai this weekend and went up the mast actually. Yes its a tar road but its flippen steep and a great workout as well. The fact that its on tar doesn't matter because the real fun at Tokai is the single tracks which we did plenty of on the way down. So ja, I dont see your point there. Also accidents happen. If I or you were to GD forbid fall and be in such a bad way that the paramedics deem a helicopter necessary then I would be very happy to have it fly all the way there for me. Trust me they only call for a helicopter if the injuries are serious and the evacuation is difficult. Besides, its not a waste of the city's resources as its a private business who do it which is generally covered by the medical aids. So in conclusion stop talking k@k.
  22. Ive had the max flite gel flow for ages now. Not the sleekest of the ones youve mentioned but I find it very very very comfortable. When I sold my old bike, it wasn't part of the sale coz I love it so much. Dont think Ill ever replace it unless it breaks for some reason.

    Good Products

Red Hot products degreaser is fantastic. Will easily remove the chrome off a towbar. Available at the lab for +-R100 a can.
  24. The transition onto the dirt from the tar is pretty rough there. Lots of big loose rocks all over the show and you coming down usually at one helluva speed. We came down from the mast on Sunday and were easily doing 34/40kmh when we hit the dirt road. That dirt is really loose and you slip and slide all over the show. Hopefully he makes a full recovery. Gad to hear that the rescue services were responsive.
