Seriously, i'm on the el-cheapo Olympic MTB shoes...they offer everything i could want!! First pair lasted 3 years (with PLENTY of up-mountain walking!!)...I'm now 1 year into my second pair and still cannot justify any other shoe that will cost me 2-4x more... Big up on Olympics!!

Doomed from the start!! SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE.... But yuo'll need to first set in place an effective recovery system...where ALL police etc. have the ability (1) to KNOW about the data dots. (2) have the equipment to scan all bikes they recover.. I just don't see this as a workable solution for South Africa (Europe /states = yes!) - we have unique 3rd world issues!!

These pieces of trail land should be "protected" like the gangsta's protect their turf!! each party with their own enforcers... which group will be the 26's and which group the 29's???? :whistling:

Hmmm...in my back-yard!! Guess I'll have to invest in a DH rig and some serious courage now.... As and aside...how suitable are these tracks for "other" riders??? I mena the blokes without DH rigs... are they still rideable? (that would mean a much larger potential income from AM riders etc.)

These are true, wise words!! I also get VERY nervous when the sidewall starts moving so much...I'm just waiting for the burp sound to appear!! Mine (RR) have done ~1000km now...and They are about halfway worn...thinking of swapping front with back to prolong lifespan?? I've been an avid Conti fan...and isnlt 100% sold on these RR yet!! quess time will tell..

Good luck with that project!! Will come over and inspect them when they are rideable... Just how do you mix a fast flowing track with one that does nor get eroded by the winter rains??? When you come up with a good solution...please share!
