  1. that's pretty much my complaint, I did finish in the front of my group
  2. So how do you improve your seeding from B to A? If you can't do it in a seeding event cause majority of the group are happy with their B seeding
  3. So the seedings have been updated, They however adjusted the winners time from 2:17 to 2:04. I can't remember exactly what the reason is for them doing this? I finished at the front of the second group most of the group got dropped, expected to see an improvement in the seeding. Kind of feel what is the point in doing the seeding events if they going to adjust.
  4. The difference is in the chamois they use. our unique “enduro” pad: we import the pad from italy from the company that pioneered the one piece, three dimensional, multi layered pad. we add a smaller layer of a rather special polyether closed cell foam locally. the final customer sometimes comments, “this pad is quite thick”. those concerns disappear once you cycle. we have a fanatical support base because of this pad.
  5. Thanks! Will send you a dm
  6. The guy that helps me with my garden is in serious need of a replacement 26 inch tyre. Anyone in the Tokai or surrounding area with an old tyre they are happy to donate?
  7. Thanks @ChrisF appreciate the offer.
  8. Thanks for all the input. I prefer thin grips so was looking for 30mm or so diameter, the extra 1.5mm makes a noticeable difference for me. I just took off some specialized grips after they wore out, I think they're the enduro type with waffle pattern. Put the original spez grips that came with my bike back on for now, Definitely keen to try out the burgtecs, but there only seem to be the 31.5mm version in SA. Was also looking at ODI elite motion, but no stock at Isiko. FYI Isiko if you're reading this, when googling ODI elite motion your site doesn't come up. Can't ride without gloves, I sweat way too much for that, its a shame cause I like the gloveless feel, I don't use gloves on the road bike.
  9. See @Hairy reply above re flangeless. Thanks Hairy! I'm in the South (Tokai), the right side ????
  10. Going to look into this. Do these guys sell direct?
  11. I spotted that, can't imagine they wouldn't come with end caps. My concern is not knowing the diameter.
  12. Out of those the Swift. It doesn't have shimano, you don't like shimano right? if it was my money it would be... https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/gravel-and-cyclocross-bikes/505087/brand-new-2021-medium-gravel-bike
  13. Sorry guys totally forgot about posting this! Thanks for the replies.
  14. Looking for thin lock on grips (30mm) that are in stock and preferably black and flangeless. Any recommendations? Anyone have experience with these? https://www.takealot.com/t4u-pro-lock-on-grips/PLID71718910?gclid=Cj0KCQiAhf2MBhDNARIsAKXU5GTI8rXT0Xlw78iUBJWMWeHNv4W6JGnF9jliA3nJkocuEXTiNpRbF8saAr51EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  15. Looks a bit like dry/sticky seals/foam rings and possibly not enough oil in the lowers. Try turning the bike upside down for an hour or so and see if it improves a bit. My policy on suspension service is go to a suspension guru (read Stoke) and use the LBS for the rest of the bike.
  16. How long after a ractec/PPA event are the seedings updated? Did the PPA Sportive last Sunday 31 October and not seeing any change. I did click on show unused seedings at the bottom of the page. I thought it was a couple of days after the event?
  17. Its only related to the points and not cash back rewards, from their site... You earn 20 Vitality points for every HealthyFood item you buy, up to a maximum of 1 000 Vitality points every month. When you buy unhealthy items, you will lose 20 Vitality points for each item. The least amount of points you can earn is zero You can never earn negative points in a month For the flights, the other person has to be a dependent or spouse on your vitality membership. You could also book for just your spouse or dependent without the main member flying.
