When is the best day and time to visit the expo for peak vibe? I usually go on Friday morning, this year however I'm doing the 42km with my 10 year old boy and he's keen to go check out the expo. It's either after school on Friday at 3pm or Saturday morning. I'm so happy I'm doing the short route with him this year, I haven't been this excited for the CTCT in years!

Do a quick check to see how well your b limit has been set. It’s super easy on a Shimano 12 speed drivetrain and only takes 1 minute.. Go into the easiest gear, see if the teeth line up with the line on the derailleur.

Are you sure it’s not 142 x 12mm? Also check on that 12 speed standard, is it HG with a 12 speed cassette? I agree with you on trying to find a used wheel if you’re on a budget. If you get a hub, you might need to change your spokes to work with a different hub and there’s the wheel building cost. This is going to add up and you’ll be in for maybe around R3k (thumb suck) to rebuild all in.
