  1. As always, just be lekker. When it comes to ebikes and Strava, just log it as an ebike ride. simple.
  2. In a similar position to you, no seeding showing. Hoping for that 2nd round of seeding. Is that a thing?
  3. @madbraddthis seems like the best recommendation here
  4. New/latest generation pro is replaceable
  5. Check this one... https://bikerumor.com/found-gravaa-gets-closer-to-lightweight-integrated-tire-pressure-management-system/
  6. If you feel their stuff is too expensive, don't buy it.
  7. the side knobs are pretty similar, so cornering grip similar, but they roll faster
  8. Rekon race on the rear works well for me. Very fast and low rolling resistance. Those little side knobs offer a surprising amount of grip for their size. Braking grip is obviously nothing near a dhr 2. They come in 2.4 so you still get decent volume.
  9. OP, you can see which way most people are leaning. My Garmin story... smashed my 520 screen, sent it in and was charged about half price for a brand new 530. Chuffed I've also heard mates complain about the connectivity of some of the lower priced non Garmin units.
  10. Cool will dm you. Thanks
  11. Can you get away with using an electricians cable cutter, not side cutters to neatly and easily cut a cable housing? I don't need excellent quality as I'm probably only going to do a few cuts per year working on my own bikes. Something like this: Also came across these on a fishing website?
  12. Plus 1 for the rekon race rear and forekaster front combo
  13. Well done for the top 20!
  14. @Skubarrahow did the race go this morning?
  15. I suspect this is probably the trick, get lucky on a lower attendance event and get grouped with A
  16. that's pretty much my complaint, I did finish in the front of my group
  17. So how do you improve your seeding from B to A? If you can't do it in a seeding event cause majority of the group are happy with their B seeding
  18. So the seedings have been updated, They however adjusted the winners time from 2:17 to 2:04. I can't remember exactly what the reason is for them doing this? I finished at the front of the second group most of the group got dropped, expected to see an improvement in the seeding. Kind of feel what is the point in doing the seeding events if they going to adjust.
  19. The difference is in the chamois they use. our unique “enduro” pad: we import the pad from italy from the company that pioneered the one piece, three dimensional, multi layered pad. we add a smaller layer of a rather special polyether closed cell foam locally. the final customer sometimes comments, “this pad is quite thick”. those concerns disappear once you cycle. we have a fanatical support base because of this pad.
  20. Thanks! Will send you a dm
  21. The guy that helps me with my garden is in serious need of a replacement 26 inch tyre. Anyone in the Tokai or surrounding area with an old tyre they are happy to donate?
  22. Thanks @ChrisF appreciate the offer.
  23. Thanks for all the input. I prefer thin grips so was looking for 30mm or so diameter, the extra 1.5mm makes a noticeable difference for me. I just took off some specialized grips after they wore out, I think they're the enduro type with waffle pattern. Put the original spez grips that came with my bike back on for now, Definitely keen to try out the burgtecs, but there only seem to be the 31.5mm version in SA. Was also looking at ODI elite motion, but no stock at Isiko. FYI Isiko if you're reading this, when googling ODI elite motion your site doesn't come up. Can't ride without gloves, I sweat way too much for that, its a shame cause I like the gloveless feel, I don't use gloves on the road bike.
  24. See @Hairy reply above re flangeless. Thanks Hairy! I'm in the South (Tokai), the right side ????
  25. Going to look into this. Do these guys sell direct?
