  1. Loosing the ski jumping finesse?
  2. Poirier and McGregor 3 on this weekend. The press conference was a lot more heated compared to the last time. Seems this time there won't be much hot sauce gifts and hand shaking in the weight in. I am hoping Dustin takes it again. I think it is going to be a bit more of a brutal fight compared to the last time. As far as the other fights go. I like wonder boy but he will have a tough time against Burns, 2 different styles so going to be interesting. I also really hope that O'Malley gets KO'd. I am tired of all his never lost a fight nonesense. He even wears a shirt saying 13-0. But I don't know much about the stand in opponent so I guess it could go either way. Then we have our local guy Drikus. His 2nd UFC appearance. 1-0 in the UFC, lets hope he goes 2-0.
  3. I have an armadillo on my navara, they have pros and cons. Obviously the big pro is it's lockable BUUUUUUT you restricted to height, for eg, my camping fridge is too high and it doesn't close so it was fine before I had kids and it went on the backseat but now the backseat has kids so I now borrow my Dad's caravelle for holidays. It also takes up a lot of load bin space so if you do need to carry stuff, bear in mind you have this big rolled up door container thing in your loadbin that you can't remove. Otherwise, It's a winner for me everyday.
  4. I have an XF50 and I think the E6 is essentially a newer version. I looked at it when I bought mine. It is 1 touch as far as I can remember so you don't need to move the mug if doing drinks with milk in, whereas with mine I have to do the milk on the side and then move the mug to the center for the coffee. As far as bean to cup goes I am happy with my jura, it works as advertised. You are still able to do some adjusting like water temp, amount of water per shot and grams of beans it grinds so you can at least customize a little bit to a degree. I have also always had good service from the agents.
  5. Anyone know what happened between Kwiatkowski and Mas? I saw a video where EM was not happy with MK, grabbing his arm and yanking it. They seemed to have a heated exchange of words.
  6. The year he rode CTCT, I was racing tandems and our group was right behind the pro's and he was just a few meters from me. When they started playing our national anthem before the start like they do every year, Cav removed his helmet. A few of us saw this and we sort of looked around and were like sjoe this is our anthem and he shows respect like that. I don't think any of us even thought about removing our helmet during the anthem.
  7. Yeah so when the CTCT was first postponed he just maar rode to keep the legs ticking over. Then they announced the new date and he started training again, hence the heavy increase in hours. I will suggest the easy riding and more rest. Thanks for the input.
  8. Yes, uses a garmin edge while riding and wears a garmin venu 24/7. Scale back? Yeah I don't think he will do that, he still wants more sub 3 CTCTs????. Thanks for the info.
  9. I need some advice from the older guys here. My toppie is 65y/o and currently training for his 32nd CTCT. He has asked me to ask the guys here if they have any advice. He is struggling to recover. He admits that as he gets older it does become harder but he is wondering id there is something else he can still do. But his legs are just taking a few days to recover. His diet is good ito no junk food and sugary drinks etc but he currently doesn't add any sort of supplement. He currently tips the scales at a little over 70kg. He is about 176cm tall. Here are some screenshots from his strava to show how much riding he is currently doing. He also adds 2/3 strength sessions a week with battle ropes and weights. He also walks their 2 staffies almost daily(although they take them to dog parks so it's off leash but they cover a fair amount of distance which he usually jogs). He's been retired for 2 years so work stress and lack of sleep isn't an issue. I must also add that hard training is not new to him and he has never really stopped riding for prolonged periods. He more often than not does multiple sessions per day. On days where he does strength he will ride only once otherwise he rides twice a day. So what are you guys adding to your diet to recover or anything you do to get the legs to recover faster.
  10. Just got something in my eye................. paged up and re read a few post. Still sad that Nicole is no longer with us. Happy 4th Birthday for next month, Karmi.
  11. If there is enough "meat" to overlap(which from the photos it doesn't look like it) then this stuff works wonders. I have used it countless times on the kids clothes/shoes. But even if you want to put a patch in, you can still use it to stick it in.
  12. I can not like his posts enough. Been following him and as crazy as he comes across as, he is tough as nails. Tim Wellens and Thomas De Gent also need to do something like this. Their ride a few years back was also pretty epic but this trumps theirs by far.
  13. He's been too busy with the new house fitting p#rn star blue lights in the garden.
  14. I am sooooo glad the photo shoots have advanced to this
  15. Yeah the DSTV feed commentators were talking about it. Arrived late at night. He then stayed up till after midnight apparently setting the bike up.
  16. Lekker man. We got an E24 635csi that was complete but in pieces. The engine had thrown a piston through he block. It has the alpina body kit on. Then somehow the rear bumper went missing. The project hasn't progressed since. It will be advertised sometime in the near future as we have too many car projects and not enough time/money.
  17. Is that an E30 in the background? More of that as well please.
  18. I wonder if he will even see jail time. I will be surprised if he does.
  19. Her tweet from 18 hours ago may sum up what she felt about Caleb.
  20. It's Patch, you don't need to be offended at all.
  21. She has been very active on Twitter, made a few comments last night about the incident. She also seems to watch a fair amount of Soccer and tweet about it.
  22. If you do find it, please post asap. It is a BIG frame. The owner of these bikes is TALL. Not many that size around.
  23. Yeah you right. So I am a Ferrari/Schumi supported and have been ever since I can remember. All the years the GOAT dominated, I didn't find it boring, in fact I loved it. I used to go to school on a Monday and gloat with all my other F1 fan buddies. Then when that ended and Schumi stopped I kinda became less obsessed and if I missed a race I wasn't phased, would also have the race on TV but carry on with other stuff. Then a few years back when Mick started racing F2 I got back into it full time again but found F1 boring because Lewis was so dominant. I have a mate who is a McLaren supporter and says he hated the Schumi era big time. So I guess if you support the dominant team then you are happy. With my team doing so badly I am now watching because I enjoy the motor racing and it is now not so dominant. I am enjoying F1 at the moment. Even the midfield where my team is, is exciting now. Lando just needs to move from no mans land in between Merc/RBR and the midfield up to join the top 4 and it will be even better.
