  1. I can not wait. It's gonna be legand.
  2. Instead of paying extra for a warrenty that doesnt stand. Look at the youtube clip on the hub 'raleigh haters'. And, get the wheels that oke's got, they rock.
  3. Why does Alberto have to lie to the press afterwards... Watch the stage again, and another time if you have to, then read his statement to the press on cyclingnews (its asif he was on a diferent planet). http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/contador-defends-his-attack-on-the-bales With Shleck climbing the way he did today and yesterday and saxo bank ripping the legs off Astana like they did today, its gonna be a exiting stage tomorrow.
  4. Most of my internet bill is spent on the hub. i check it out everyday, 4 - 5 times a day. I've spent about 10K buying. But have't sold or advertised anything for sale yet. I met a hubber, to view a bike i wanted to buy for my wife, when i asked him if he could hold on to it so i can pay him later, he sent the bike home with me and told me to pay him later.( i payed him the next day)BeegMig2010-06-07 08:28:02
  5. Well.... What did you get?
  6. I dont know if they just check the gears these days, but the tyre size also has a effect on the rolling distance. A clued up bikeshop wil know what you need and can build or order a cluster to meet the restictions.
  7. It,s to set a equal playing field for the kids ( thats what they say on supercycling). When i was a kid everyone said it's so young talent wont overstrain themselves and get injured. I'm not sure what the ratio is, but sometimes one can fit a comlete cluster on the back. For u/16 it was 16-25 with a 52chainring, and 14-23 with 52 for juniors. Usualy the biggest ratio has to fit in a distance with one rep, officials mesure it pushing the bike backwards on a mesureing tape. just find out what the lenth is supposed to be. If you want to fit a full cluster, you'l have to fit a real small chainring on the front, a 16 small gear has chain-rub on the rearstay of some bikes.
  8. just be carefull not to pinch or damage the o-ring or waterproof seals. it should be okay. but first make sure if you are allowed to, with warrenty and all.
  9. Whatever the difference, weight, looks or function, i dont think its worth R 9 000.
  10. Then you'll love the LONESTAR edt
  11. You can use a babybotllebrush to clean the bladder. And flexwire wiith a cloth at the end to clean the pipe "gun barrel style". I lent mine to a friend and got it back green. Milton works, and the pracice golfball trick to give it air.
  12. Well they about have a dedicated rugby channel, showing the weeks super14 games over and over. A channel for IPL. And 6 channels showing soccer. How much soccer can you watch a the same time?
  13. Want jy ry nie met 'n "tool"sakkie onder jou saal nie... jy dink jy's cooler as ekke
  14. thats a cool idea!
  15. I think the unpayed wages is just a afterthought excuse. If you want paye, knok on the employers door and ask for your money, and if he refuses to give it, then tempers might flare and things could turn ugly. These guys had it all planned out. They broke in to the house and killed a man sleeping on his bed. But why did they call the police to turn themselves in, surely that wasn't part of the plan,,, or was it. They knew he was alone in the house and that no one whould know his dead for a good couple of hours, maybe till morning, thats a good head start to make a run for it. Everything just doesn't add up, or the newspapers have their facts mixed up.
  16. Some wheels only have a effect at high speeds. like AEROSPOKE's, they realy work but you got to crank it like a beast to keep up to the speed, and they weigh a ton. So, good for short time trails, not so good for 100km with a swim and run. Im not a fan of discwheels, for the same reasons plus sidewinds. Find the midway. Light/aero-combo. I'd say ZIPP's
  17. 'Part of the frame hangers' dont have to be such a problem. I had a hanger on a OCLV raod frame brake. Sold it to a friend for cheap, he took it to someone who made it a replaceable hanger fram for him. he still rides it six years later.
  18. I've had good experience with GIRO and replacements. Take it to your LBS and ask them to sort it for you.
  19. I saw a brosure at SupaQuik and asked them about it. the owner said they don't keep stock but that he could order one for me if i wanted. So if you have time, drop by one and let them call the supplier. Maybe you could even get one there if the price is right, or atleast youl find out whats up with bosal.
  20. I have M-frames 3rd lens in 5years, also peeling. I had Rudi's for 4 years before, and never had issues. They repaced a set of lenses for free after it got scraced badly and it was totaly my fault.
  21. Try shifting more of your wheigt to the saddle to put less strain on your hands. I know its hard to do on a moutain bike. Swopping grips may help, or risng your bars.
  22. Its even more anoying when dogs arent allowed in the complex your living.
  23. Casino turned spinnergy wheels with shimano on COLNAGO frames.
  24. Mapei used Shimano on COLNAGO bikes
